... it's not working for me. It's not just this site, I tried other websites and this game just isn't letting me click anything on the title screen. Episodes 1 and 3 work fine, but this one is broken for me
Uh, I'm replaying it now. In mozilla firefox, I right click the flash player in the game, choose settings. Then under "local storage" I tell flash player not to store ANY information. Then I refresh the screen. Flash player asks me if I want to allow save information and I say yes. Now it saves a whole new game. I can replay as much as I want so long as I dump the flash save memory after I die.
Hm. You know? You can finish the game by exiting the lair without ever triggering the final countdown? Seems like there should have been some way of preventing that.
Great game experience. If you do a sequel, try to maintain this level of story involvement. It would be easy to focus on adding new features and hulking it out to make it a more exciting TD game, but don't forget that characters who get stranded on a desert moon likely won't be coming back intentionally. Perhaps in the sequel you can have the army invade the aliens. They you could use a conquest-style campaign with tons of different maps.
The thing that bothered me that I don't see talked about much in the comments thus far is the achievements. When I see achievements in a game, they're supposed to be challenging. Extra credit for the dedicated gamer. They're not. They're not challenging. It's no great achievement to "complete the game" or "kill ten enemies" or "max out your HP". The achievements in this game are nothing but a bait and switch to get you to play the game on their own website and that is an advertisement, not an achievement.
@Kingtarol: you can "equip" weaker items even if you've purchased better upgrades. This means that if you're having trouble with moving too quickly, you can equip a slower engine. The little gear indicates which item you have equipped for that slot.
Hi, there are no mouse controls for this one. Use Arrows or WASD to navigate, Enter to select and Control to go back.
