@grandshadowdude Oh man I feel you! I'm at 407, and my save is also gone (I'm 99% sure it was on a different computer.) And as I recall, it took me like, a couple of years to get that many. Ah well, I'll take the other 370 free points... XD
@Hamburglar4: to kill the boss you have to jump on top of it (hit the little red button on top) while being the same shape as the boss (so when the boss is a circle, you have to be a circle when you hit the red button on top, etc.).
@Zingman886 You get 15 by fhzzvat gur neebjf ba rnpu fdhner - fb fgneg ng gur gbc yrsg, gura tb qbja gjb fdhnerf naq pyvpx. Gura tb evtug gjb fdhnerf naq hc gjb fdhnerf, pyvpx ntnva. Xrrc ercrngvat. Level 24 on the other hand, I have no idea. Like others, I had to brute-force it. A little over half of the squares I got on my first try. So somewhere in my brain, I had the right instinct, but no idea what that was.
I'm assuming that there's been an update to the game since casimodo commented (and possibly Pykrete as well?) - but I'm definitely finding that the spikes, the directional barriers and barrier/one way switches add a significant element of interest to the game as you go along. The game *is* admittedly a bit slow ramping up the difficulty -- it's probably not until about 25 or so levels in (I think? I don't even know, as there's no level counter?) that it actually gets interesting. Some things that it's noticeably missing and really should be there somewhere: [1] a level counter, [2] ability to level reset ("R" key?) when you realize you've trapped yourself, [3] Arrow keys as well as/instead of WASD, [4] Remember your international non-QWERTY using audience! WASD doesn't work on all keyboards! [5] For the love of $deity, please include a mute button! It's 2020 ffs. Other than those glaring omissions, I actually quite enjoyed it.
FINALLY got my first Legendary Item (Badge of Resolve, yuck). It took me until level 58, with 296 missions completed and 31,049 invaders defeated... :-/
Just want to quickly say HOW MUCH I appreciate the dev on this game for continuing to come back, listen to feedback and suggestions, and make regular improvements to the game. Every time I open it up, it's a little bit better - it's already twice the game it was when I first started playing. Thank you THANK YOU! ♥♥♥
@Selva No, it's not when you click on a colour. It's when you click (to flip gravity) while *walking on* a colour So if you're walking on red, and click, then all red blocks will change from solid to passthru.
@Spirit_of_Doom huh?? Of course a mute button is possible! Absolute "worst" case, you maintain an internal setting flag and if the flag is set, you... don't play the sound. Also: this is written for PICO-8, which has the `music n` command, to which you pass n := -1 to stop the music. This is... pretty trivial. But in ANY case, the workaround is to press Ctrl-M to toggle sound.
