First off - this is a surprisingly awesome game! Kudos to the developer for scratching a nostalgia itch that I didn't even entirely realize I had. I've spent the last week doing almost nothing other than obsessively hacking away at these dungeons.
Anyway, second - this is probably a dumb question, but: what stat governs initiative/turn order (especially WRT the enemies)? My gut says it's initiative, but wouldn't mind having that confirmed...
Thanks!
You have no idea how happy comments like this make me! It's hard building games solo but I felt like I had a real winner on my ✋ with this game! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so!
@Iluvtrolls Can't help you with the script error (I didn't get that), but to use the items you have to drag them onto the thing you want to use them on.
@xXNoPPeXx Eh? You've got a bunch of sets in there. Just picking an arbitrary one off the bat: {(1,1,1), (2,3,1), (3,2,1)}. First coord is all different, second coord is all different, third coord is all same.
@onepunchmand - It (chapter 20) is out for me right now. Sometimes, this game has had a bit of a history of new chapters not showing up right away for some people -- my understanding is that it's probably some sort of caching issue where it still keeps the game in memory from last time you played. Try again (maybe a few times) and it'll show up eventually. [Note: despite what I said about it being a caching issue, **DON'T** try to fix it by clearing your cache. While that may work, it will also nuke your save files, so probably not what you want...]
Also... devs, try this: Send one of your kitties (Kitty A) out on a date. Then, while Kitty A is still out on their date, switch to another kitty (Kitty B). From Kitty B's tab, click the "Party Management" button. Remove Kitty A from your party, then re-add them. Now go back to Kitty A's tab. It does... interesting things.
FYI: I'm still seeing the DB InvalidStateError / Mutation Operation issue that others have mentioned in the comments previously. v0.47 Alpha, Windows 10 Firefox 58 (64bit). Hasn't *seemed* to be much of an issue - I can just click the `Ok` button and carry on as normal without any apparent ill effects. I've seen it either 3 or 4 times so far - always on the "Kitties" tab, but other than that no pattern that I've noticed. Has happened mostly right after I've clicked the mouse on something, but I'm pretty sure I recall it happening once when I hadn't recently clicked but was just staring at the screen waiting for some numbers to tick over. Not sure how helpful that was, but at least another data point for you... :-/
How is the efficiency score calculated on level 4 (Apple Baskets)? I've done it a couple times (always on highest difficulty) and have only gotten efficiency scores of 75-80 -- but am uncertain what I've changed that may have affected the score.
Yayyy, thank you THANK YOU for adding mouse controls! You may not like 'em (and fair enough) but for me it instantly took the game from dying-every-few-seconds to being able to finish it with no further upgrades. (Also may have saved my keyboard, too, from mashing it so hard...)
Awesome! I did my best with getting g out to you guys. I probably can get them tightened up a bit too in the future. Actually, I started really enjoying my time with this control setup!
Ok dev, that was a really awesome game. I daresay one of my favourite puzzle games on Kong ever. But seriously? You owe me a bunch of Advil for level 116...
Yeahhh.... nope. Controls way to unwieldy to use (even with the scroll buttons, I misclick on them and end up unselecting the blocks more often than not); graphics too small to see & read very well... I'm done with this one.
Too bad, because it's actually otherwise an interesting enough game, but the UI is *way* too frustrating to use, and just ends up being not very fun. :-/
Ack, nevermind that last comment. I see now that I did miss a step. (The "curse" of opening my mouth; 10 seconds after I do so, the answer will become apparent. Never fails.)
I feel like I'm missing something here. I've collected all 3 items requested by McMaster and brought them back to his palace, and... now what?
I confess I looked it up in the walkthrough which instructs me to talk to him; however when I do so my only options are "Could we speak about my mission?" and "I wanted to ask something about you..." but when I click the first one, it doesn't do anything, just gives me the same options again. Is this a bug or did I miss something?
You have an intelligent gut. :)
