Man this has improved a lot since the last time I tried it, it's actually pretty good now.
The "turn" mechanic and the attacks still seem tacked on, and a few more units would be nice.
As soon as you can afford the next tier melee unit the old one becomes obsolete
4/5
While the random ceiling-holes are nice gameplay-wise, it feels rather stupid to have a sudden hole open up releasing 50 zombies, then you walk up the stairs and there is nothing in the room above.
slows down quite a lot when there are 10+ units. Just like the other 20 games that are exactly the same, just with different settings like starcraft etc.
Seems unfinished over all, and gets old really fast. Theres just not enough "towers" to choose from, the whole resources thing is just annoying, as are the retarded "attacks" during turns, which are a stupid concept by itself. Recources/turn are completely useless up until about 10-15 lvls in.
Also: spelling errors.
Could be a great game with some polish, tho.
Recruitment bugged out for me halfway through. After the announcement for the unique knight it didn't matter where i searched, i always got 3 lvl 1 archers. Didn't change until the end of the game, won anyway tho.
As soon as i put in the steering wheel (or whatever the last part is) everything but me froze in place. I could repair the last 10% without interuption.
Fleeing the last battle cans ave you a lot of time. I found it better to never ever attack his summons (the 2 claws, and the 2 worms), because if he shifts to dark and summons those space monolith you are in for a very long fight, the monolith healing everyone with their area-beam.
100%+ death/doom/dark resist, or at least death makes this fight much more manageable, no matter his element.
Noted with thanks! :)
