Some interesting ideas, but the retarded airunits break it. AA guns are completely useless. "build more" is NOT the solution, you WILL have to repair your towers, no matter how many AA/stunguns you build, so it's cheaper to not build AA at all and use that money for repairs.
2/5
Nice style, perfect controls, but way too easy.
The hardest part actually was the 2nd boss, it was the only time i actually needed those hp upgrades
The weapons should be a lot more expensive
Stuck.
Can't get back down because of one of those vents blowing me up, and can't jump high enough to get to the next ledge. Also can't get enough momentum to make the jump possible.
Sucks.
Yep, it's got a random chance to draw enemy attention immediately and it adds onto their long-term memory so a second taunt is slightly more likely than the first, and so on. But it's not guaranteed at all: the best way to get attention from a monster is to taunt and hit a high-damage attack just after... then taunt again.
Finished.
Few more things :
1.Don't waste your man...err Ether on anything but heals, all the strike spells are completely useless. 2. Advancing to a lower shop isn't always beneficial, you might want to farm some more where the enemies are easier. 3. Elemental resists can be pretty much ignored, you get some basic resists through items you use anyway, and thats enough. 4. Do Goldruns (Don't use potions, go as far as you can and wing out). 5. Know the enemies, when you can oneshot a certain type=free gold, no damage taken. And some monsters are just easier to kill, the ninjas for example are best avoided unless you really have to go through. 6. Check the contents of chests (eye of wealth), if it's a consumable item it's normally worth killing a monster for it that you normally would have ignored, especially on the lower lvls (500 hp pot or 50 ether pot) 6. Heals are 25 ->100 hp, 45 -> 200hp and 80 -> 400 hp
For an easier start, return to title and start a new game when ther isn't an easily acessable artifact chest in the first room. An artifact armor or better yet weapon make the first few lvls a breeze.
Very unbalanced and buggy.
Some Monsters attack you with lvl3 skills that barly scratch your hp, people challenge you with monsters that die in one lvl 1 attack and those fights give the most exp, you can get stuck in combat with the enemy at negative HP, you sometimes fall through the platforms when training agi, those Buttrabbits (?) are a complete joke, they hit for about 10 damage but dodge like mad, the reaper guys just spam debuffs and die without a single hit...and so on
Very nice game, two suggestions tho :
1. The rage cost of the axeman skills need some rebalancing, atm the only skills you ever need to beat the game are stun and leech, the other stuff costs too much rage and/or has too long of a windup time, makeing it a dmg loss when you got enough speed while making you vulnerable to stuns to boot.
2. Being able to adjust the game speed would be handy for the later lvls
2-3 and 2-4 are pathetically easy, and 2-5 is another stage you can only win by luck.
This game is neither strategic nor is it difficult. Unless you consider "spam shit and hope for the best" a strategy.
Beat 2-2 now...no strategy involved, it's just luck. Spam turrets (both laser variants and autocannons) and hope that yellow doesn't attack you, that green actually kills yellow and that your turrets target the right stuff.
If you are unlucky green just targets you after a few seconds, and so does yellow.
How the fornicate are you supposed to beat 2-2 ? Is there some trick to it or just try until you are lucky enough ?
If Yellow isn't killing 2 buildings directly at the start the green crap just overruns my base, about 45 sec in, no matter what defenses i build.
