I've always loved this game but lately its been doing this thing where the dice decide that they're going to continue to roll just a little but more just as you're about to make your decision and of course, it totally screws you by changing what was there. Not at all cool.
not only are we losing out on turns but something is on the fritz because the actions aren't fluid, the roles are stuttering to jerky stops. Sometimes you even decide what you will call a role and then it quickly moves the dice again as you input your info making your selection invalid.
And I've never understood the thing where at the end of your game, you get your high score blinking on the actual play screen and then it lists it in the high scores column as being less.
This game's great fun but it needs an undo function, because it too often slips in its own version of what "it" thinks your movement route for a piece should be just at that last second before you hit submit or sometimes it just records a movement improperly be it a blunder of computer or user error. Either way, it always works to your disadvantage; likely putting you in peril and if your movement is compromised like that, then you know that your strategy and therefore - your entire game, is either ruined from that point on or you have to start the entire thing all over again.
I love the game but an undo function would be my suggestion.
How the hell are people getting over 5000 in this thing?
unless it feels like giving you an absolute ton of yahtzees, or there's a trick to it, it just aint happenin.
screw this. if I can't sign in and play from wherever I want having finished the game numerous times, then forget it. shoulda had an undo button to avoid all the 'convenient move mistakes' that the computer makes in it's favor anyway. not that it doesn't cheat the math already.
I don't understand why they havta cheat the math in order to win. it's not like they don't have the advantage half the time anyway. on the Bonus Map you shoot the tank with your turret and 'sometimes' it reduces him to 2 orange bars - which is correct, and then other times, it only reduces him to 2.5 yellow bars. between that, varying sub strength based on nothing and having to sacrifice a piece just to expose a 'stealth anything', you suffer way too many 'convenient losses' that you choose to do because it implies that you can.
and there's no reason not to have an UNDO function that you can hit before the end of your turn. it would change nothing, save only the puters ability to cheat more.
AGAIN while playing the last level this morning, it conveniently chooses to 'miscommand' my choice of firing my Rocket Truck on any number of enemies that are converging, and instead, boxes it up on a barge - during this early round no less, when he was already in key position and every conceivable enemy is right there and there's no way that anyone could possibly even think that it'd be wise to put that thing on the water anyway, especially considering that the enemy's Corvette Fighters, Planes, Subs, Blimp and land crew are all just standing by and yet that mistake cost me just enough money to jeapordize finaces to obtain key pieces for my next round. f*ck this, I'm done with this crap! that kinda gameplay is just low. an UNDO selction that you could hit to fix these 'supposed mistakes' before ending your turn, WOULD be an option if that crap wasn't deliberate. I'm sick of it! that's just absolute BS! dirty pool to sabotage my gameplay. really lame.
I've won this many times over but this game cheats math in favor of the AI. not that any of the strength bars are relavent anyway, since they all change at the start of the next round, nullifying your strategy if you don't account for that. and god forbid that you play to streamline efficient strategies, because 'convenient little mistakes' are made with your moves, that give the advantage back to the AI; moving you improperly, repairing you when that wasn't your choice, thusly jeapordizing your strategy and getting your key armament destroyed. and this nonsense with the tanks appearing at the end is just spiteful. especially considering that only one blimp will kill all of them and they don't even have ONE man to take over any of your bases. if they could do that, then make an 'undo' feature before you END TURN - that wouldn't make any difference at all, except that youy might actually get to play the AI the way that YOU wanted to, instead of wasting your time only to be sabotaged.
I love the way I get the second highest score I've ever gotten and then realize that I haven't signed in, only to do it then and see that it's not recorded. awesome.
not that it ever records your actual score anyway. and not that you could ever even get a decent score if the computer didn't feel like rewarding wou with a plethora of yahtzees anyway.
the math is still wrong on this and this game has convenient little ways of cheating.
if we are equal in strength as displayed by the color bars, then how come I can't kill their sub in one shot but they can always kill me?
how come their subs receive no damage when they're parked on the rocks? why in Wave 10 do I always loose the turn of a crucial playing piece that has not yet been used and is still lit up, but won't respond to any command and has no cursor around it?
and why is there no review your comment selection before posting?
dude, it's not about stupidity but..thanx for that.
it's about the information, staying consistent. the bar graph should be completely ambiguous - fully disclosed information - that does not ever change. nor should it represent strength that is only relative to one side. it should be 'universal' to both. it's meant as a guide to base your decisions upon. you shouldn't need to figure out that you're always only going to be 90% as effective as the enemy, when you have the same amount of bars.
my point is that, if they are more powerful, than give them another bar..I don't care, but admit to it, don't sucker me into decisions based on misinformation.
and I've played the entire game several times and won, so I'm not complaining based on nothing. I know the aggressive stance often sees more damage but the math is still not adding up. I've been replaying certain waves over and over again just to see where these types of anomalies are and there are times when things do not make sense.
Battalion Nemesis cheats so goddamned bad! they just completely screw me every time I have the advantage. my decisions will be based on the info I have from their strength bars and their ability for movement and yet, they always change the effing rules when it comes to their turn. they can either kill me with one bar of strength, which is horesh!t, or they can move one space further than what I already checked against several times. not to mention, that they can stay alive to block my path with only a black box devoid of all bars, after 3 hits from my army - they're favorite BS move, just to screw me into complete vulnerabiltiy for the next round. also, I love it when I choose to attack something and it just pulls up next to them and does nothing, just so it can be a goddamend sitting duck next turn!
they cheated me huge today! effing shamelessly! F this game I'm done!
so you finish Wave 10:Bringing Down the House and then they show you your entire Command Center Island covered in Blue Invisi-tanks? for what purpose? to rub it in your face that they can win by cheating whever they want? pfft.
