This is a pretty neat little game. It might be helpful, though if you could add an option to change the mouse sensitivity. Also, maybe add an automatic level reset if the player uses all of their bullets but hasn't knocked down all of the ghosts.
Very nice art and animation! You should probably choose a key that isn't shift for fire, its a bit annoying being spammed about sticky keys all the time. It could also use a bit more content.
Pretty nice for a first game, but the gameplay needs to be a bit more complex. Consider adding different types of attacks and enemies to spice it up a bit.
Thanks for the feedback, that was originally slated for the game but time limits made for cut backs. If I continue to work on the game, 1-2 more types of enemies as well as a ranged attack and special move for the hero are the first things on the list.
Maybe beef up the AI a bit, make the drones try to circle you at a safe distance while they shoot at you. If you let the drones reach you before destroying them, they just sit on the ground and stop shooting. Very good for a first game though.
Interesting game, but maybe add a few more features to add to the game play. Better AI for the bots would help a lot, as well as pick ups such as health or armor.
The animations and models look pretty good, but I think its far from being a beta. I agree with Zetheran though, you need to make the mouse stay in the game window.
The control scheme feels pretty awkward. I think it would be better if the crosshair was locked to the center of the screen, or at least if the crosshair's position didn't affect forward movement.
Sadly thats the end of the game right now. Im still trying to find a way to make it so its a smooth end unlike what it is now. Thank you for the response though. I am uploading a new version which has a bit of an interesting creep factor now.
Well, its a very nice looking menu system, but since there aren't any servers up yet or any way to host a server, there isn't really any way to play around with the movement.
Nice usage of unity's 3D engine, although the player model need a bit of work. Also, the controls feel a bit awkward right now, it would probably feel better if the movement wasn't based on the player's rotation (IE holding W would always move the player up, even if they were facing right).
The flight controls are a little bit awkward, as is the menu switching. Maybe separate aiming and steering. It's obvious that you have put a lot of work into the story, but not many players want to read through that much in one go. Maybe present the story to the player in smaller portions at a time.
The power up system seems to be pretty neat, but a little description about them might be helpful, as well as making the question mark icon disappear after it is collected. The car also flips around and drives upside down, so that might need to be fixed.
Nice looking models and particle effects. Its also a pretty interesting concept. It needs to be made more clear though that you have to hold the mouse down for a while over the pawn before it is selected, as it took me like 3 minutes to figure that out. Also, it crashed when clicking the "Next" button after completing level 4.
Fixed!
