"Off Course" needs to go, and the way that hitting an object in the atmosphere causes it to be harder to *see* needs to go, too. The acceleration boost shouldn't be more helpful for letting us see. 3/5 not new for the genre.
Really quite buggy, high expense upgrade system (especially at the very beginning). I like the combo = multiplied trick, but the tricks get *stuck* on occasion, and dead is not a good multiplier. Bug removal necessary for that. Nice, but less than what I was expecting from you.
@ neht: Casual mode, Game MoDs:"More intense enemies", "Tighter Accuracy", "Laptop Difficulty", "Community Compilation", "Skip Hard Waves" and try playing a rogue or hunter.
Truly lack-luster but half-decent. -1 for having the best gun waves and waves and waves before the end (where is the end? I don't intend to finish it... got the last gun the first day of level 5, and the AK the second.). -1 for not standing out as either "incredible within standing categories" or "innovative and interesting". 3/5. P.S.: too long... shorten the waves/number of kills before a new rank (2000/4000 with most of the guns already upgraded... really?).
Look forward to some minor improvements. I'd be happy to remark on specific issues in the future (if requested by you, SKAREN), but for the moment: can't wait for more characters and bug1: "Run Away" response to the Dragon leads directly to KILL.
No connection to Maplestory (except for the sprites) with music stolen from other games... and it's a side-scroller with no upgrades or explanation? Weak.
Combat and consequence: enemies moving vertically are nearly impossible to hit due to problems with hit detection. Number of hours available later seems to be random. Improve these issues, get back to me, and I'll be sure to improve my rating.
Storylining: what makes you so special that werewolf after werewolf is coming after you, and why only weak ones at first?
Gameplay: the upgrade system is great. Random weapon generation is idiotic. A G3 as the 2nd day weapon has caused no reason to continue, and there is no guarantee that "usable" weapons will appear. You may lose simply to bad luck (i.e. no Carbine/G3/Crossbow).
Very "eh"... Suggestions: 1) don't limit the gun fire length on screen (except for the fire). 2) don't limit firing angle (zombies above you can't be hit until they can hit you, too) 3) a shop? Reward for doing well? 4) Boss levels, ending? 5) Slow down the scroll to make getting the pickups an achievement rather than luck 6) slow down zombies when you're running faster (i.e. toward the end of the screen opposite the zombies).
Got to a point at which most battles were just charge/charge and with 1,000,000,000+ cash... there's not much left to do but increase power/agi/speed/prec since nothing hits me more than once. End stats: 101 Power, 70 Agi, 11 Speed, 75 Prec., 10 Def, 20 Grit, 60 Chrome.
Boring over the long term, new guns aren't necessarily better, reloading on changing guns issue, no meters/numbers for stats, no cash listing, and blue guys fail to disappear, causing lag later on. With some improvement, lots of fun. Until then... "eh".
Notes on the little sisters: More is not more. Having hit 55-60 little sisters, most of them are thrown off the screen during battle, rendering them useless.
The difficulty curve is just... off. Levels 20-40ish are incredibly difficult, and by 120ish, the NPCs can solo without you (126-140, all perfect games). Needs some editing for continuous difficulty, or a shortening of the game. Also, on AI: the Grav Gun shoots backwards. A lot.
Notes from the NPC Quad: It took my automated team 1 try (no losses) to go through levels 126-131 without equipment upgrades or my aid. They messed up the boss battle slightly and ended up at 131/148 structure, but Gravity-leeched back to 148 during the 131/3 segment. The game has broken for this group.
By Day 126, full automatic (I'm typing through 127) - 1 Laser Pistol Mk 17, 1 Grav Gun Mk 5, 1 Auto Shotgun Mk 11, 1 Combat Shotgun Mk 13... ended 126 with 148/148 health, dipped to 143 during the boss battle because the characters were distracted. Keep relative difficulty alignment more strongly, please. I can mow through boss levels more easily than regular ones.
