@ disemboweling< it happens when you destroy the main body, but doesn't always occur. To tell if it happens the camera will slow down a lot and a lot of blood will pour out, but is how the game goes anyway so it may be hard to tell till the match is done.
Saving would APPEAR to be very efficient in this game. Showing a save screen after every battle, but in reality it hadn't saved what I had done for the past half hour. I quit properly and the whole deal. What I am trying to say is you should be able to manually save also, so incase something like what happened to me happens to you. Sadly, this game is fun, but I don't want to regrind those levels. So... It was fun while it lasted!
