Lots of potential here, just needs small tweaks and additions here and there - however one issue stands between this and perfection more than anything else: Balance. Either the fights are ridicilously easy (enemies deal next to no damage at all and die in 1-2 hits) or ridicilously hard (enemies kill 1-2 characters per turn). This all in the same dungeon >_>
Why are these arkandian -games always so effin slow in comparison to other games fps-wise? Could you pleeeeease pre-render them or something to make them a _little_ less choppy?
Graphics are nice, the game seems somewhat balanced (which I don't say often). BUT. It's still just a copy of a design that has many annoying aspects as well - how about bringing something new to the genre instead of just copying the same shit over and over?
This could be a very nice game, but there's next to no content in it: Basically you get to choose between having more weapon slots or more auxiliary slots, only a handful of different weapons, only a handful of levels and only a handful of enemy types. This game has huge potential, but it's currently wasted on hasty release. A definite 5/5 game that gets 3/5 because there's 5 minutes worth of content in it.
All I get is a pink ball for terrain and no textures whatsoever - spiders only show up as shadows, kinda makes the game unplayable :/
Yes, tried reinstalling everything.
"Go to this-'n-that-website to gain access to content" gets an automatic 1/5. As long as Kong is paying you (through ad revenue and contests), you better let people play _on_ Kong.
(1) Zero difficulty until wave 50 (2) Even then, the difficulty comes from evading the small boxes that teleport and ram into you - evading them is mostly luck, as they can teleport almost right next to you with a collision course (3) The game is way too short, there's hardly more than 10 minutes of fun after which you've seen it all.
They say there's a season for everything. I think now we are at the season of spoonfed gaming where the gap between a player playing the game and a baby being spoonfed is closing fast. And people seem to cheer for this, which is odd.
The game is still lacking proper "really-long-level"s, the abilities of the highest upgrades are next to useless when the level is basically already cleared once you get them. Other than that, nice milking of the monthly contestö
