Usually in these types of games, it's actually a hidden advantage to summon waves early. So I did that for all waves in the entire game - but started struggling in the last days of act III. However, I realized that I just needed to not upgrade my 2 barracks until I had 4 fully upgraded ranged for it to be a breeze. This was because wandering souls kept turning the frontline against the castle the other way. Also, I don't understand why you'd put potatoes anywhere else than in the spots closest to the entrance. Except in the day where barbarians are forced into those spots.
I love the old badges. Back when impossible badges was possible for me to obtain. Badges were in general a lot easier in the older games. Probably just because Greg got better over time :P
Playing on firefox and I kept getting sticky keys (sometimes even also autofire, which I didn't mind ;). To fix it I had to press the key it thinks is down. Gets pretty annoying in some fights, but mostly when you accidentally leave an area. Fortunately the game was pretty easy, so it is still doable.
How does Power Click work exactly? Does it just double click power in general, or is it just a one-time addition of click power, based on current power? In the latter case, it becomes a question of whether it's better to wait until late in the game to use it, and perhaps to use it while having a click power x3 box going.
Power Clicker ads current GPC to your GPC. This bonus is static. It cannot be further influenced by any modifiers except the bonus from falling crates. So yes, it will give you more boost if you use it later in game. Power Miner does the same to your GPS.
Hmm, might be easier to get strikes if I zoom the page so the game fills the screen. Haven't gotten one yet, but I've been below 50km on a bunch of cities that I knew well.
Traveling without the ship means to destroy all parts of the ship - which requires some luck. I did it by traveling at a stable and slow pace near the top and then getting most stuff destroyed before falling steeply, leaving only one or two hits needed on the ground level.
Small lag spikes are near-instant killing me on the spiral shootings of the third boss challenge. Hate it when lag is the main reason I lose, but I guess there's nothing I can do about it but keep restarting, give up or wait until I buy I better computer... Anyway, my mind has enjoyed the game just as much as my wrist hasn't. Can't believe I didn't notice this one back in the days 4/5
Rush to finish level 5 to get flame thrower, then go through the levels again with that, spraying to each side while focusing on getting the antidotes. Some are located so you're forced to do it in several runs, unfortunately - but at least the flame thrower makes it easy.
@xpahbam I got gold on level 22 by starting at top spot, going solely for helicopters. Although, I had to redo all levels and hunt achievements, to have enough upgrades to do it.
It didn't take me a few weeks to get bounty rank 5. It only took a few days - without paying anything. The chat community was very helpful at giving tips to how to progress, since many are f2p players.
Too bad their nifty source of infinite ammunition isn't possible to scrap for metal. Oh well, at least there's a ton of incompetent and wasteful alien ships with a death wish
If you're experiencing a white screen on Firefox, there's a good chance it's because you haven't enabled Unity. Click the lego brick to the left of the address bar to enable it, allow and remember.
Love the music build up - but had to use the walkthrough twice - on easy - since I didn't find several things immediately obvious (drawer animal and white button in the chamber). The button I could've found if I had paid more attention to the clue but I don't know how you were supposed to guess the animal was movable, except by accidentally drag clicking while spam clicking. I was in the last room by the time I was missing that animal, so that is perhaps too many screens to spam click, to my taste. 4/5
