As far as I can tell, attack speed increases are all bugged. They increase the number listed for attack speed, but the highest attack speed number is for berserker, which you can clearly see in combat is the slowest speed. Also, if you use the flat damage increase talent it gives you more dps than the attack speed talent, even when the flat damage is negligable
Armor is unlimited. Start with swordsman, roll attack tomes looking for armor on hit. Stack armor on hit and attack speed as much as you can, with some points in phys damage when needed. You become unkillable for a long time
@Gamejunkie, if your inventory fills up and you can't move, go into your inventory and either drop things or craft things. Most crafting recipes cause you to lose weight
paul, the time increases because youve jumped to the next zone and each zone has more time than the last. if you dont have full hull/armor, the time will decrease until either you do or it hits 0. thats the effect of Space Normalizer
Its possible to go infinite with less than half the upgrades. I did it with 60 or so. The only problem is the speed cap... When you can only go 40 and youre going infinite, you spend 45 mins and only get a few million in distance
Also, ranged units do have a shot count. They only fire so many times before becoming melee units. That explains what happened to sly. Its not very common to run out of shots if you have large numbers of archers, unless you use druids. They only have 3 shots
For those having problems winning... always distribute until the very end of the game. You can get money from winning fights. More archers = less damage taken = less troop replenishment costs. Use as many ranged units as you can with 1-2 strong tank groups
@Toa of Pi, the pinata and other EXP creatures are semi-useless allies. They're meant as an EXP boost, and give lots of exp when killed. Also, feeding them to another recruit gives more exp than most feeds
How different screens work part 2: Equip lets you look at and equip your equipment. Upgrade serves as both view and upgrade. Use sort to move them around. To equip, sort an item into the appropriate spot on the top of the screen. Smelt destroys equipment for ores. Craft ranks up equipment at the cost of ores. Album shows you all the creatures you've seen. If you capture one, you can also look at its evolved form by clicking on the button at the bottom with the crown. This page is useful for comparing base stats, but keep in mind that your recruit can only get to a certain level based on how many stars it has.
How the different screens work: Home is just a tip page. Dungeon shows you your current dungeon. Click anywhere for a boost. Get in the habit of clicking on your hero, it gives you exp later. Theres a reset button and an exit button on the top. Exit lets you pick a new dungeon. New dungeons unlocked by fully clearing the previous dungeon. Recruits: View shows their stats, sort allows you to move them, feed allows you to destroy recruits to give exp to other recruits, promote allows you to spend crystals to give recruits a rank. Feeding a recruit the same type of recruit evolves that recruit to its other form.
I just lost a level 44 account to poison. I can't get an antidote or potions in time to live, and if I wanted to keep playing, I would have to start over. Always carry like 5 antidotes, or you could lose your account. Seems like a flaw to me
Played on a laptop..... the controls made it extremely frustrating. Reached a checkpoint and died ON the checkpoint, causing me to respawn as the death animation..... I'm still flying as I type this, so thank god for the glitch =D
Some of the puzzles felt overly difficult, and it felt too easy to get trapped. I finally managed to get to the end, only to discover that I had wasted hours and not gotten a badge because I got stuck treasureless and had to (SPOILER) kill the Watcher.
Great team is the warrior/paladin. Against two people, stun healer, wisdom aura, then just stun back and forth with the paladin holy striking the healer. Against 3 people, stun the healer, wisdom aura, then keep the warrior alive with vampiric strike if you have it to allow the paladin to use holy quake. Enemy healers are paladins, nature mages, and shamans.
Game is fun and not as impossibly challenging as people are saying. The only problem I ran into was not finding the daimao in time.... then I learned that you just have to follow the footprints by going one block in the direction they show. Find daimao, kill mooks, hit up some rice patties, and only buy permanents. I found that daimaos go down FAST if you hit super slash the instant they appear, too.
