For the "end now" problem you can run a bunch of simulations to find out how much time it takes to finish for different sections of the course and then add that amount of time when end now is pressed. No more simulating.
That's precicely what it does. But it can't be accurate, or it would take exactly the same amount of time as running the game. Sometimes the END NOW works in your favour, anyway :)
