Possible spoiler alert: On my second play-through. Oh the Irony, when the Arbiter says "Everyone makes mistakes". I laughed. Thought about it. Then laughed again. Then thought about it some more. And laughed AGAIN! xD
Great game, however it needs an "ending" just to tie everything off. Finishing the last level felt like a bit of an anticlimax, especially after all of the other story elements we've been given each step of the way. You wipe out the remaining humans... and then nothing. Just needs a little something to cap it all off! :)
Can we have an option to sell off/trade in the multiplier booster item for spins? Because, I'm sorry, but it's a fairly useless power-up. I have 61 of the things, never use them because they almost never help with completing missions, and yet more often than not it's what I get out of the lucky cat >.>
Interesting use of the game mechanism to illustrate your points, but, eh, incredibly preachy. I don't disagree with your message, but I disagree with pushing it on people under the pretence of a "game". Feels incredibly underhanded. I'm all for games that make you think about issues, but this is merely pushing opinion. probably could have been handled with a lot more tact.
This should be an amazing game. It's certainly not a bad game. It has so much great content. It's funny, lots of nice upgrades and progression... but... There are so many niggling things that overall make the experience more frustrating than fun. 1) The fuel counting down even when you use xmas boosts 2) how freaking rare the powerups are even when maxed out 3)how slooow santa seems when not boosting 4) that chance wheel that (maybe it's just my luck?) more often than not lands on the X (seriously, 8 out of 10 spins, the fart stops being funny after about the 5th time! :P).
a wonderful trip down memory lane! I loved playing Incubation, though I have to say this is far, far easier. The big monsters don't pose much of a challenge since you can nuke them rather quickly with the grenade launcher, and the last mission was a let down. I kept expecting more monsters to leap out of the water to add to the difficulty, but as it was i was easily able to contain the little gribblies before they could even get out of the sewers. Brilliant game nontheless, and I would love to see a sequel!!!!
Brilliant game! Finished it twice. Still playing through! So addicted.
A few points though that should be addressed for the sequel, wihch must be made of course! We want more rebuild! But I digress:
-Be able to sort your survivor list by skill level (this will allow to more easily equip them)
-Sort survivors by equipped/unequipped.
-Be able to see which survivor is equipped with a particular item and jump to them (for reassigning items)
-option to "unequip all" to streamline reassigning items to people.
-be able to customise your own avatar on game start.
-was a little disappointed that guns and such can't boost you above skill 10. Surely a man with a gun is better prepared to kill zombies than one who is unarmed? :3 Perhaps allow items to take you above the limits of being unequipped? ie. skill level 12, or 14 with a rocket launcher.
That's all i can think of for now. Mostly small things which are making the interface a little clunky to deal with. Keep up the great work!
Pretty cool ending, but it would have been way better if, when the coin box re-aligned, our infamous feline friend EXPLODED out of it sideways (instead of raising upwards first) and the music blended straight into his theme. Incidentally, i see what you did there with the ending music, brilliant, but again it could flow way better with the final theme, instead of doing the space odyssey 2001 style thing and the pause, which I honestly found to be anticlimactic.
