FANTASTIC! The movement feels a little odd, though. I seem to slide a little bit at a fixed velocity whenever I move, and stop suddenly. Other than that, though, this is great! Tense, and the music and sound queues are perfectly designed. Even eating the ghosts via power pill feels like something you shouldn't be doing. Magnificent. The option to turn off power pills, the radar and the ghosts themselves (just to mix it up a little) would be pretty neat additions, as well.
@Bagonix A walkthrough of this game would completely defeat the point. It's a scavenger hunt, the fun comes from figuring out the riddles and finding things yourself. If you're stuck, just wander around for a while. Sooner or later, something will click.
The gameplay is good, but I think pretty much everything you can purchase is tremendously overpriced. It's way harder to earn 2000 credits to buy a given thing than said thing is worth.
I miss the store aspect from the first game. It would've been nice to customize my duck for money, or even for finishing races like in DL2. I also wish there was a standard duck with B in all stats. Just for kicks.
you know, i get all the people wanting a world that shifts as you create more things, but you would have to make a different image for all the combinations, so thats, what, 115 to the power of 115? It would take FOREVER to make all of those. Maybe as you unlock each category...
Scientist: We have invented a vehicle with armor that can with stand any kinetic force, a device for sinking its way down into the surface of the planet so it can be launched back in the air, and the capability to recharge itself by destroying enemy ships and inoffensive fireflies.
Engineer: Okay... What about heat?
Scientist: What?
Engineer: Yeah, the enemy uses lasers, so heat and radiation are important.
Scientist: ****.
I have found the razor queens biggest weakness: The box gun. Once it is deployed, she will only pay attention to it, and can be diced. All you have to do is not get killed or let her run into it while its deploying.
