Giving up at lvl 36. While I don't think it's impossible - I don't have the reflexes to respond to threats of dif speeds from all directions, or the patience to reset for the right line-up. I still find it to be a fun game and give it a 4/5 - maybe the badge should be a 60 pointer but that doesn't take away from the fact that it'sa well made game.
Plenty of luck involved, for sure. But the choices you make have a pretty significant impact on the game as well. I win a heck of a lot more than I used to, and I don't feel any luckier. Hmm, maybe that's it though ... gonna go buy some lottery tickets! ;)
I have played approx 75 games and I have to say that, with the sheer number of rolls I've witnessed, any abnormalities could be explained by the law of averages. Give any unlikely occurance enough chances to happen and it eventually will. If you play long enough, you'd see 10 free rolls in a row. If you lived long enough to allow the odds. ;)
I've gone back a few pages but I can't find any info on what a 'nest' is. I've only a few badges left to get and the two nest ones are among them. Thanks in advance! :)
strupstad: I do realize that. It would appears you missed the point. Did you even read the post to which that was a response? Read - think - then post.
Fun mix of strategy and pacing .... until you get the enemy tower down to, say, 89 hp's and out comes a wave of 80 angels and paladins. Interesting way to add in difficulty/ challenge. And by interesting I mean lazy and arbitrary. 3/5 and could be/ should be more...
Great game! Yeah, challenge 6 was harder than getting Tara Reid to put down a drink but still fun. Getting the badges was a blast - not a chore like with some games. :) 5/5
There are alot of attributes to like about this game - for fans of the genre. But it suffers greatly from an overall lack of challenge - in particular the atrocious AI. More card variety couldn't hurt either. With some fine tuning, this could be remarkable though, and I'm hoping to see more. :)
Gamemackerel: That depends on who chooses the criteria for the badges since that then becomes a part of the overall experience. So, if say, a badge is 'get 5mil points' in a game that maxes out at 2mill, there's aproblem. BUT, since there was no problem with the badge but my own flawed strategic logic, I admitted my improper judgement and rated accordingly.
Holy carp! This isn't even worth spending time on the easy badge. Seriously, random bouncing around in hopes you hit something other than water isn't a game. Either my reflexes are way too slow ( which is entirely possible ) or this is all about a lucky stretch that gets you some points.
In a perfect world, this area would contain only constructive critique and at least some appreciation for the people that provide these games for free. And in that same world, the developers would be able to take the criticism.
Ah, I think you mean that there are exact clones heh, not just more of the same genre. With that, I agree 100%. Make a new game - put some spray-paint on someone else's work and call it your own.
