Could really use a compendium or give the inventory a more detailed layout. As it is, the inventory building is redundant, it offers little other than it doesn't have the interface bottleneck of the equip building where you can only view and equip items by groups. It's very much kludgy that the equip building's menu requires extraneous clicking in and out of groups in order to change out equipment especially when all the offensive items are group into one large group while defensive items are segregated individually. Would it not be better for us to be able to select items from the inventory building itself and be rid of the 8 extra clicks required to open and close the subgroups of the equip building?

@George_1982 That's what the dragon slayer thought when he saw the tortoise. The tortoise is still alive, his sword was in a chest, and a skeleton is walking around. Probably should avoid belittling the tortoise.

@corneliu When the prices of potions/other such curative items do not scale, it is because they were meant to be/able to be used while in-combat. In combat, especially challenging ones, you want to make the most of your time spent, i.e. one would prefer to utilize a potion that heals/overheals the points being expended be it damage(hp) or casting(mp) than one that heals a few points that: are quickly done away with/fail to even negate the loss. You are paying extra in order to recover a certain amount of points in one tick of combat, than spending multiple ticks that prove inefficient/ineffective. Summary, you were meant to waste the basic pots in combat or out, while the expensive ones for major encounters. Though the creator did opt to scale the healing pots because people enjoy gripping about things that may have sound reasoning. So you'll probably get lucky.

@darkblade2222 Wish I had your luck, 2 out of 6 times I've done a 2-18 run I've found myself receiving potions and later level loot from chests making those journeys entirely stupid easy had they been my first off, the remaining 4 were standard. Reckon the creator added a bit of randomness to appease the some of the more vocal people begging for casual-ization and those for more challenge with one action.

Well, lost 50k gold and my museum inventory consisting of 6-10each of the yellow loot from level 2-38. Nothing to whinge about really, it's like playing a cartridge with a run down battery. And is it just me or did he change the drop table slightly, I got an ivory ring and before even hitting double digit levels.

Spell interruption is not a new concept. You don't want to waste your mana? Start casting once the mob hits you instead of before. Timing, people, is a very useful talent toi have.

I'd suggest, if at all possible, creating options to allow players to disable features e.g., scaling potion prices, mp regeneration on kills, magic spell retention. Some may find such 'fixes', required by others, serve only to dilute the gaming experience. For those still unable to grasp the concept of artifacts vs. commons. When you use escape wing YOU ARE MEANT to drop all red chest/buyable equipment because they are considered disposable/extra weight when escaping from the dungeon. Yellow loot along with stat gems, serve as a foundation to enable you to proceed from the next start better suited to delve further, find more loot, and money. Red loot are to be seen as intrinsically less valued whether or not their stats are better than that of yellow, wear them, love them, but they are temporary.

The save feature is fine. It's meant to be used as a means for people to take a break from a game in order to do something else, not as crutch for people who incapable of understand that they're about to die. @jacenwindu 300 levels is easy if you spent more time using the wing so you can see what other artifacts you might find, instead of barreling straight through to the end.

If the game is too small, just ctrl + +/zoom in. This isn't an overly casual game. If you die, you did not to play properly, you either overestimated yourself or underestimated your enemy. Do not expect to be rewarded with a second chance simply because you failed needlessly.

Is there some sort of weird jump trick involved for Lattice in order to go up the middle or is that some sort of red herring. Love the soundtrack.

As example, you have a health of 500hp and you are faced with a mob that does 9 damage every .1 seconds or a mob that does 400 damage every 2 seconds and you are only using 100hp pot to heal. The first mob would do 117 to you while you spent 1.3 seconds healing just 100, not much of an issue but if it was a long fight even without you using potions that extra 17 damage would add up overtime. The second mob would have taken your health to 100 in one blow, if you used the potion at that very moment, you'd have 200 hp after 1.3 seconds, .7 seconds afterward you would be dead. Thus the basic potion was meant to be used whenever, in combat when it suits or usually out of combat. While the higher level potions were to be used in during boss/difficult encounters. Were these potions only usable out of combat, then these prices would indeed make very little sense.

In reponse to bjmenowpls's comment on the potions. Non-scaling potion prices is usually indicative of their being used for burst healing. Due to the potions being usable in combat with a 1.3 second charge, you are paying a premium to use a potion to heal 300/500 hp instead of spending multiple turns healing 100. The utility for this comes from when your character is taking an amount of damage or a rate of damage that would make the use of 100 hp potion be inefficient or even ineffective.

Small suggestion: Allow artifacts to be selected for wear in the artifact display of the starting menu before the start of a new quest. Would be nice for the character to be topped off with the artifact gear on instead of having to do so manually, if one were inclined, after replacing the starter junk with all the shiny max health boosting items and wasting coin and potion.
