inferno 18 is easy too, a couple hints.. 1. use an X to start a base then use a V to widen it. make a platform from there. using an X to straddle the top of the / is very strong and can handle a bit out of balance. a knotch made by you is helpful too.

inferno level 5 is so easy its silly, no glitching either. small s into slot, large s into small s, fat block into big s, big and little balls on the arm you made. done in 812. most of the game is solved by making knotches, or blocking holes. inferno 29 was the hardest for me, but some of the levels where you need to time object placement are painful. but i did not glitch the game when i solved it.

hints: use the "Air Superiority" bug. Buy Officer + Radio = Air Superiority. thats all those 2 units are for. Next get a Spec OPs. and hope for a map with a tree on the edge of the map in the top third. get your Spec Ops there quickly. if that guy gets to Corporal 20 kills, use HERO on him. then when ever he is hurt use HERO to heal him. then buy a Tank for the opposite side. don't pick up any boxes, they may push you over the limit.

you can aim your rockets.. just select only ONE rocket base. then click and drag a line from that base to your target. you can do this with naval bases to auto reinforce.

how can you not beat level 2?? surround that big star, put all but 2 ship in the smallest close star, put one ship in each of the other 2 close stars. click and drag to select all of your ships. and then double click on the big star. that will send all of your ships at once at the big star + multiplier. and then you win.

hints: 2 fighter bases = self healing and self defending and self expanding to stars in its influence, the more overlapping fighter influence = stronger; you can set waypoints for naval bases to auto reinforce weak points; you can set targets for the rocket bases. Fighter Base networks are the strongest in the game and they lessen lag as you don't need to do anything to maintain them

level 6 is actually cheating in the players favor. in the regular game you cannot have 80 ships with the number of stars you can get in the beginning of level 6. level 6 is easy. use starting force to grab stars from the corner. as you get them convert them to defense immediately. if you run out just convert the corner back to standard and wait. keep at it until you have one side. then place like 70 ships on one star near the middle and then the rest along the line. attack all at once and you get a multiplier. keep reinforcing until that middle defense is stable. take out the naval bases and then clean up

yogsloth, constant small attacks = fail. build one large main force, then surround your target with a small remaining force. when you attack all at once, your big force will get a multiplier. the small forces are just to get the multiplier

tight groups of fighter stars = win. for extreme skirmish. add in a rocket here and there. and then once big enough consolidate with a defender wall and set rear to $ then one or 2 naval. then you will win.

last level, normal, set all to fighter. any stars taken immediately set to fighter. then wait. once full equilibrium is reached ,meaning they can't take any of your stars even for an instant, then set your deepest star to rocket. set it to fire on the top left defender, hes the smallest. you might need a second rocket or a standard planet to keep attacking that one planet. only use an expendable star.. the other starting stars must be fighter. once you take the left planet make it fighter. reset main rocket to auto select target, make standard then rocket. now leap frog left, use mostly fighter and add a rocket now and then, need 2 rockets to take a defender. you will win eventually, like an hour.

to get past the defense wall, mass all of your ships into one group, except for a few at the extreme ends of the stars that you conquer. then select all and attack the middle star, with the quadrant multiplier you should be able to take out the middle easily. set it to defense and then take out his back then finish the wall.

a fighter mesh is a minimum of 2 fighter stars with overlapping borders (sphere of influence)

a tight group of fighter stars is self defending and self healing creating a mesh of power. also if there are enemy stars in the sphere of influence, if they weaken too less than the power of the fighter mesh, the mesh will take them over automatically. so a proper mesh is also self growing. basically its the borg. thats how to win mission 10 and up. last battle takes forever but the mesh will win.
