Whenever I try to save and reload a character, it glitches. The skin constantly shifts, loses all the armor/weapons, and gets a bit laggy. Items seem slightly overpriced, since you can't just fight extra battles for more cash. Swords&Sandals2 was a much better game than this. The Bard class and ability trees were the only noteworthy improvements. Oh, and the fact that it's a demo? I went to your homepage to see how much the 'full' version cost... $20 Australian ($15.48 US) for a poorly concieved FLASH game!? The only reason I'm not laughing is b/c there must be some sort of mistake.
A nearly pointless clickfest. The 'strategy' element is about as complicated as 2 ducks fighting for the same piece of bread. Sorry to those that liked it, but I failed in the fun-finding quest here.
pretty funny. amusing concept. the game itself is a bit too easy though. Once you get the hang of it, you pretty much can go forever until boredom kicks in. Perhaps difficulty increase over time? Add further block elements?
needs work. very solid start, but absolutely nothing to make it stand out from every other tower game. Build tower, upgrade tower, and a small assortment of temp upgrades. Been done a few dozen times before. The ability tree with multiple levels is always somewhat entertaining. Having character avatars hasn't been explored very much. Tower-experience has been tried a few times. But the single-level tower games with unlimited waves has gotten kinda stale.
Also, screen is F*!&ing small.
kinda cute. seriously though, showed it to a 10 yr old girl, and she finished it w/out help. if you REALLY can't finish it, after applying yourself fully, you have some developmental issues.
needs a save option in the worst way. slots for random money just seems like a pointless add-on, I prefer the ladder or tree ability/upgrade systems, or something where you have at least a little input.
no deck editor = suxors. some cards are just plain BAD, and are never used. i like the life / sanity thing. critters need a bit of work to be balanced, as they're kinda blah at the moment.
Yet another non-inspired 'defend the castle' type defense game. The standard formula with a few names from the LotR series. Not BAD really, but it's been done so many times it's like I've already played this game 100x. The interface could use some work as well.
The stuff that floats to the top after the first flush of post taco-bell runs is not 'Treasure.' Ok, the games aren't that bad, but they're just a random animated thought replayed over and over again until you get a movement combination right. A brief flash of amusement, followed by little to no replay value.
Nice animation and attack system. The game is far too linear for my tastes. Practice also earns only negligable exp. Everyone loves the 'kill a critter get an item' system. Doubly so with equipable stuff.
Great concept. The interface was very intuitive. The little bugs falling to their death was cute, where people would have been disturbing. For those that have no background in engineering or bridge-building, a more in-depth tutorial covering the basics would be nice. "Build triangles" was about the only real advice given.
