I thought I could just play 4 levels for the easy badge, but you have to beat a whole lot of levels to unlock a second level in any area and then a third and then a fourth. I don't know how long that's gonna take. Do I need to defeat every first level to unlock the first second level of an area and then defeat all second levels to get a third level and so on? That means basically defeating 3 levels of all areas before being able to defeat the fourth level of any area.
Not that great. 2/5 It's just a grey game with a bunch of bouncing balls that increase 1 per level. Barely any effort compared to more ambitious games with worlds with many monsters and weapons and this is supposed to compete with those games?
I tried to tag it with P2W, but it's not a tag. Sadly. "Sorry, but P2W is not a tag. Try again." Just make a disclaimer that you can spend kreds in the game. Just like mobile games have an in app purchase disclaimer.
I got the easy badge in 5 minutes and the medium badge 15 minutes after that. Ironically the game has so many stars, yet I only gave it 2 stars. It's just walking left and right in order to collect stars. How did this get enough plays and a high enough rating to get badges? The only worse game I've played is "Snail" by Meepo. That's why I gave this 2 stars instead of 1. I gave Snail 1 star because it's just holding right and this game has better gameplay (walking left and right instead of just right) and a simple upgrade system.
Interesting game. 3/5 Not more because that would be a slap to the face of people who spent longer than 2 days making a game. Ratings are not relative to the amount of time spent, but how good they actually are.
Increase the inventory limit. There are so many cards that you can't even theoretically get one of every card. On Steam I saw a screenshot with 400 card inventory limit, so why was it reduced to 100 by default and 200 after 4 inventory upgrades? Animation Throwdown has a larger inventory by default than Spellstone after maxing it out.
Too bad Snail Bob 1 and 2 are not on Kongregate. It feels so useless to play them on some random website instead of on Kongregate. It's fun to play games, but fun is temporary while badges and points are permanent even though they are ultimately useless in the grand scheme of things if you think about it.
After 10 minutes I found out that you can press the right arrow and then click outside of the game. He'll keep moving right automatically because the game does not receive the key up action. Come back 12 minutes later to see your well deserved badge.
The tetris puzzle is insanely difficult. I could only complete it by drawing the blocks in a paint.net and dragging the layers around. Solution: Block 2 right. Block 4 left. Block 5 left. Block 3 right. Block 1 middle.
