I got 20k points in like 30 seconds or something. I beat level 50 with 440,835 points. Too bad I did lose some lives. The effects really distract from the enemies and the cursor is difficult to keep track of at the same time as the player character and the enemies at the same time.
Scrap that, 4 levels take over 2 hours because of the difficulty curve going crazy. Random waves with a lot of monsters that have a lot of HP and are fast.
Both the hard badges should be impossible badges, purely because they take many hours to complete. A 5 point easy badge in many games takes about 5 minutes, yet a 30 point badge takes like 10 hours or something.
Skipping waves adds a LOT of points. You need to defeat 7 waves without skipping to get the same amount of points as just clicking on the first wave in the beginning. Never leave a gap between waves, but also don't overlap waves if you can't handle them. The monster counter between parentheses shows the monsters that are waiting, so skip the next wave when it reaches 0. Don't use 3x speed too much because creating and combining gems and looking at when to start a wave takes a lot of time and you'll skip waves too late. Increase your mana pool, but don't overdo it, because you won't have enough mana to create new gems.
I'm used to upgrading a gem while in a tower from a newer game, so it's annoying to have to take a gem out of a tower in order to combine it with another gem. Also the fact that gems are random makes it harder to get the correct ones.
Start game.
Play 4 levels in 2 minutes.
Got easy badge.
That was easy. :P
You can probably do it in 1 minute if you don't waste 30 seconds in the beginning and then fail a level because you want to connect ALL nodes, which is impossible. Just reach the end.
It's really easy to get 10,000 total points. The tutorial mission already gives you almost enough points, so you just need to play level 1 and you'll have almost double the required points after that. It takes less than 10 minutes.
The burglar is awesome. It doubles your money from a day. It beats the city chief all the time and the reporter in later levels.
The veteran is nice for 10 extra damage, but only use him if you need the extra damage because doubles the search cost. Although I don't know if the amount of days even matter.
I hate it when there's a 95% chance. Why not just 100%? If you have a low chance of getting something good, you feel good when you get it. When you have a 95% chance, you feel neutral when you hit and bad when you miss because you expect to hit every time. Even if you miss once every 20 attacks. It's especially annoying if you miss a 95% attack twice in a row, even though it's rare. You might as well code that it always hits after missing, because people don't expect it to miss twice in a row (1 in 400 chance).
