You can "enable" auto fire by holding the left mouse button and dragging it out of the game window and releasing it. The game didn't see you releasing the button, so it thinks you're still holding it and it will keep shooting.
You can go to different levels to get some easy chests. Maybe you'll level up and the main quest will be easier. But don't grind. Grinding is tedious in AAA games, let alone in Flash games.
It's a pretty slow game and it's not that exciting to me. Just simply attack each creature with a basic attack until it dies. At least in the beginning there are no special attacks per character like in Pokemon. Also boring dungeon rooms you walk in compared to good roguelikes with procedurally generated dungeons.
Make sure you check the quality after starting and turn it to high if your computer can handle it, because I just played almost 40 minutes on medium quality, despite my computer being able to handle AAA games from the year this Flash game came out.
I like how this game is just a completely free Flash game and is pure fun for a few hours. The mobile version is probably still pretty good, but some people said that it has a LOT of ads and there's a premium currency just like most mobile games... But at least it's not a base building game. xD
I know a game is good when I return 8 years later after getting all badges. Many other games aren't even worth playing after the badge of the day. Many others I play for a few more badges. But I don't play many games for hours without the possibility of getting badges.
I completed classic mode in 12 days (with 0 day calendar)! Awesome! Buy glider, sleigh and booster first and then buy ramp length/height and fuel one at a time in bulk, so you don't pay multiple times.
It took me 50 minutes to get the easy badge. Although I spent 5 minutes in the character creator, so I'd be able to do it in 45 minutes if I chose a standard character. I don't know how long it takes to get the medium badge. Maybe 2 hours in total or 1 hour after getting the easy badge.
I'm pretty sure the "loading screen" doesn't load anything, but is just there to show an ad. Flash games only load in the beginning unless they are huge, unlike AAA games which ARE huge.
