This game isn't really for me. I love the concept, and, as with all of your games, it's absolutely beautiful to look at. But there IS a bit of a detached feel to it, as some have said. I don't really feel as if I can get lost in it, like with, say, I Am An Insane Rogue AI, or Vertical Drop Heroes(My favorite of your games, by the way). I will not be jumping ship, though, because as far as style and execution go, you are STILL the premier developer on this site, as far as I am concerned. I eagerly await the next one, as always! 3/5
I REALLY want to like this game. However, the composition mode is somewhat frustrating in its limitations for someone with a working knowledge of music: Lead sheet can't be changed from bar to bar, quarter notes only, etc. I like the concept a lot, really, but the execution is a little lacking, in my opinion. Best of luck with the competition, though.
Neat concept, but it didn't really do anything for me. I can see how a person who is really into these sorts of games could dig it, though. As for me, I'll pass. 3/5
I just updated my rating to five stars. This is a great little adventure game, and quite the breath of fresh air for those of us who miss the days when games didn't have to have leveling, upgrades and endless lists of achievements.
There really isn't much to complain about here, except for the importance of gold as the means to purchase the best cards. Perhaps instead of buying them, they should be awarded. Then again, my CCG phase is over, so maybe this isn't the game for me. Good effort. 3.5/5
What a deceptively addictive little game. I've been sitting here for an hour, sweating bullets as the Tea clipper pulls up. In the end, I had the British drinking 11 cups of tea per person per day. Wow. Thanks for this one, for sure! 5/5
I played this wonderful game proudly, my statuette of Sir Winston Churchill on my desk to guide me. Games about history seem to be notoriously hard to get right. RobotJam, you nailed it. The mechanics just, well, seem right for the time, even the desperate feel of it, having to sacrifice damage in city areas to protect others, never having enough manpower to deliver a decisive blow, just having to wait the Germans out until they give up the ghost. I'll share this one and play it again. And Again. And again. Bravo! 10/5
This is a good concept, but the game play suffers from a frustrating lack of realism. Not to be pedantic, but why do artillery guns charge enemy soldiers? There really isn't any control over unit behavior, as one crowd of them seems to charge and get annihilated, while the rest of them hang back and do nothing. It isn't really possible, therefore, to coordinate a working strategy. Disappointing. 3/5
There are game developers on Kong, who make the best Flash games on the internet. Then there's Nerdook, with whom they're all running to catch up. How do you keep scoring one winner after another?
Incredible! It took a minute to get the hang of it, but there are few flash games out there which top this one for depth of story. Don't keep us waiting for Act 2! 5/5
