It's a bit annoying when you get ambushed by an army of enemies, it would be nice to have the whole minimap uncovered, but overall the game is great, 5/5.
I was casually going about my base sector, _-8, killing a streuner, a goli of the same race as I, flies past, circles back, and shoots me out of nowhere, chasing me all around till I get to base...Wtf?
My comment was also rated down, the point of it was not spam, it was because someone said the game was published in 2007, and i posted up it had been published in 2009

I really enjoy this game, my second day and i'm already hooked, the only problem i have with it is the battling. I think it would be much better if we could actually see the battle, or even command our units instead of using statistics :p
I agree with Ac but i do think that the banning system is a little too strict, like i get ambushed and out of rage and without thinking i say "****" The im hit with a 2 day ban i mean...they could warn you or at least make the ban for less..
I strongly think tht the banning system is too strict, today i popped in 2-5 during a spaceball, apparently out of 20 eic 2 fes chose to kill me, after i died i said f it, 5min later WHAM 2 day ban -_-
wht sucks is tht is u dont pay to play the only wep u can really end up with is an aug, cuz tourneys dont have cash at stakes anymore AND who really has the time to go on once a day for 5 days?? i mean seriously they should at least give us like 1cash each time we lvl or something like that
No matter what people say this is a great game, and i know from experience ive been playing for a few years now and i still go on from time to time, all the people who say this game is bad just need some patience
Guide to becoming good in Darkorbit: get your skylab up a lot, its a big moneymaker, then get some drones and a better ship, untill u have 8 drones (any kind) and a goli. After that you still focus on skylab, but go to the uppers, the things there give lots of money, ep, and uridium, i hope again that this helps (P.S. do not attempt to go into the uppers and fight strong creatures without a vengeance ship or higher ^.^)
