FuriousRage's comment is definitely correct, about the 250x multiplier being wrong. I've just made the 525 population upgrade, which is attached to the upgradeable 250x click multiplier. I was getting 16.7 YJ per click, and 16.7 BJ per disaster. Now I'm getting 494-ish YJ per click (there was another upgrade I made, for one of the buildings, right after the 250x click one.) The point is I should have gone up to ~4 BJ/click after the 250x upgrade, and I didn't.
The so-called random weapons aren't really random: they occur on fixed levels and always give that same weapon on that level.

Did anyone figure out the ideal tower placement for level 12 (for a 3-star game) yet? I've tried dozens of different ones, and managed to last all the way to wave 13, but either the ogres or the trolls eventually get the best of me. Every time.
Heh. I guess the people who are complaining about unfairness, of how often they die and all...never really played the original Rogue. Talk about a game where you could be on level 17, all full of scrolls, rings, +3 weapons and then, boom! Struck by a dragon or whatever that would instakill you...
This game is a "rogue-like" game! It's in the description...
the last few increases are just pure evil! I need more hours at the current rate, just to go from 990 to 1000 newsstands. The problem is that all I can manage is to double my rate every few hours (by doubling the AIs), while the exponential curve for getting more newsstands (and donut shops, pizzas, etc) increases much, much fasters. Without better upgrades this will take forever!
@cookiedestroyer: when you buy something with AIs, it's just like postponing the actual buy. Ie. your starting point becomes that new number. So, if the first newstand costs $ 1200-ish, and you buy 110 newstands with AIs, the 111th will now cost $ 1200-ish, and things start from there.
Hi Nico, first of all, awesome game! I mean, really: gameplay, sounds, graphics...all top notch. Now, if I may suggest: the gameplay is very dynamic, especially in the phases where you have several enemies and even more in the phases with the dark matter. Setting the slider for every transfer is a bit cumbersome (I haven't tried the hotkeys...). I would suggest something like: if you simply grab and move the troops, it will use the slider setting. However, if you press and hold the mouse button for, say 1/2 a second (or whatever), some kind of circle with preset 25/50/75% will show up allowing you to quickly choose that specific amount to move. That may add dynamism to the player's actions as to how many units to move at the snap of a finger.
To everyone that has a "bug" with not finding the last master (or more of them): masters can show up more than once in a single quarter! Someone tipped me off to that and I went back to a quarter that I had already "greened", and one in which I had previously found a master, and there he was: the last master.
@oLaudix: if you press and hold Z, you get the map. If you just press Z once, you get a red radar halo that shows you enemies, stashes, chests, etc (depending on Eagle Eye level...)
Started out well, but became pointless in the last few stages: you can continue at will, and your weapons, no matter how upgraded they are, simply aren't enough to face the onslaught. So you die and keep "continuing" until the very end.
Sorry about that T_T
