Unlimited grenades (unlocked after beating the hardest difficulty) is the BEST MODE EVER. It's endless fun to just carpet-bomb the entire landscape and watch the craziest chain reactions happening. =D
A great idea, and one I would like to see more of! However, Level 15 was WAY too late to introduce the second enemy type. Still, very nice game to kill a few minutes every now and then.
I think I prefer the first game. Super Mode doesn't top the guns, crates and explosive boxes of the original. Still, a great way to kill a few minutes! :D
This game gets 50/5 for the concept. Easily the most interesting and intelligent platform/puzzle game I ever played. However, it's epic hard, relies WAY too much on trial-and-error (though it's not TOO bad since it teaches people to plan ahead after each death), and jumping often fails in the most critical moments: Especially when the ground is not 100% visible and/or changing, jumping while running often results in you... not jumping. Still, I will try to finish it (reached L26 so far), and I hope we will see more like this in the future. :)
CrystalShadow: There isn't anything "confusing", actually: It's the CTRL key for both Windows and OSX. And I dunno what you mean with "uniform keyboard" - QWERTZ and AZERTY keyboards (for example) exist for Windows and Macs, so what would that "uniform" keyboard be? The differences between OSX/Windows keyboards are actually small if you compare models within the same region (so you can easily use a "For Mac" keyboard with Windows and vice versa). The issue at hand wasn't any confusing keyboard stuff, but (from what I gathered) that the button simply doesn't work until the second person is free.
Switch characters on a Mac with the CTRL key, too. But what also caught me off-guard at first is that you first need to have two FREE people. So in the room where it introduces character switching, you first need to free the other person!
Beat the game and got all six trophies. Miiight try the juggling combo one, but I know that I won't have the patience for the color unlock badge. XD However, definitely an awesome game!
Awesome game. Tons of fun, fast-paced (also in the bigger sense - it's refreshing to be able to upgrade quickly without slaving away for hours) and quite interesting controls!
Managed to get the card and Easy badge just by spamming Satan's punch. Special moves RARELY work (or are VERY hard to pull off at least if you're used to regular fighting games) while the AI spams them like crazy ("Stampede! Flood! Flood! Flood! Stampede!"). Interesting idea, very nice graphics, but the gameplay is horrible and the AI is definitely not newbie-friendly. Pity.
Good thing that (if you did all the levels before) you only have to re-do the indicated levels (10/20/40) to get the badges. I almost feared that I'd have to re-do all 40 levels! Nice game, but I doubt I'll try the speedrun trials.
I think I've played this sort of game on some Linux distro way back. Very nice once you get into the groove, but apparently, there are no savegames. Not too great to have to start in level 1 each time you come back.
Some sort of "Infinite Mode" would've been nice (with random blocks). I like the physics and general feeling more than in 99 Bricks, though, so a good improvement.
Wonderful transitions and the mirrored cursor is great, too. However, the fact that the floor is NOT part of the errors while the hole in the ceiling IS threw me off at first, too. Overall, still a very fun game with shiny graphics, though. :)
