Knife part... no thanks. It's not a case of "lol ur timing sucks n00b", but rather that a reflex/timing minigame-ish part where you have to wait for a twitchy line to move into the right position for a split-second just doesn't seem to belong into a sniping game. The other missions were fun, but overall, I think I liked part 2 more.
This would be a very nice puzzle game (and my favorite of the series), but the timing part for 100% Soul Rating really ruined it for me. This time, TWO of the pieces were outdoors, and while I managed to get the first piece to her JUST in time, I missed the last piece by less than a second. And without a "Skip back to scene x" system at the end (the way zeebarf's games have them), I'll have to go through the entire first part again just to get another shot at this luck-based hunt. Which I already did... four times by now. Urgh.
And another (though apparently more obscure and amusing) glitch that just happened to me in Pyramid (Time Trial): While riding up the pyramid at full speed, the ball hopped onto my car... and I started to FLY (which turned into a merry free fall once I let go of the right key). O_o
A very fun game! The minor glitch with the second switch in level 20 happens when you only tap the switch lightly, I think. I carefully nudged it, which only made the barrier invisible. Then I rolled over the switch, and the yellow ball finally started to move. And the Bouncy Bridge level is fairly tough, compared to the others.
MissSpiffey: Thanks for pointing out how the intersections work. So the rules are consistent, but poorly documented (and slightly aggravating). I gave it 3/5 because the graphics are nice and because it's okay for a quick game every now and then, despite the drawbacks mentioned in the reviews.
Just completed this game. Nice way to kill a few minutes. There is a game-wide collision detection bug, though: RIGHT after starting a mission, you can yank the mouse to another location without being hit. It's not game-breaking, though. In fact, I liked it because it allowed me to skip sometimes half a level in those cases where I died juuuuuuust before the finish after a looooong journey through a complex maze. ;)
A level-specific thing was that the Robot mission's collision detection was sometimes more generous than I would have expected. I think I once even managed to go through the moving bar without being hit.
