I'd like to see some add-ons for the weapons. A slot for scope, barrel, clip, shoulder butt, leggings etc. with some positive/negative effects. E.g. a barrel add-on silencer will add a cool sound effect, has a positive of increased accuracy (narrower spread), but a negative of shorter range.
A scope slot with "Laser" will add +5% critical, but has a negative of -3% to weight.
Etc.
Joining the complements here about the FPS part. Awesome TD.
I'm missing the variation in upgrade for autofire towers and perhaps some keyboard shortcuts for activating manual towers like the meteors while in FPS mode.
Also, I would urge an improved AI on auto-towers. It's annoying to see that a gun locked on creep and kills it while other nearby guns send their ammo into the air. I would love to see the missiles tower reacquire targets if their original target got destroyed.
The game is too hard to be a casual game. Mission 1 is bearable but mission 2 requires skills that are way too demanding to a casual player and then some.
I would reconsider buttons positioning. My left hand's doesn't feel well after 2 hours of playing this game. Perhaps have the rope control completely automated. Also, I would consider having the rope more stationary albeit wind and inertia that flip it around, for better gameplay experience. Sure, it's cheating a bit, but navigating the planes is much more interesting than to rope down/up
My 2 cents...
This is a really great archery sim. I would like to see you adding survival and practice modes once the "story" mode is done. As for the gameplay itself, on one hand I loved the "stretching" of the bow by holding down the mouse button, while mouse up is release. However, for the sake of mouses around the world I would encourage you to add an alternate mechanic using mouse-down twice - once for stretching the bow and once for releasing, which one can switch to through the options menu... that is albeit the fact that the current mechanic does more justice to the game.
And again - well done.
There is another option to resolve the harshness of the Alien campaign's allies' retardness, and that's by removing the allies themselves. There are some missions where I would rather play alone rather than with the allies. But srsly, the solution would be to be with a lesser amount of allies compared to the opposition. Numerical advantage is the solution because it would make the larger team need less points to win on top of having the tactical benefits of numerical advantage.
Certainly!!
