So... who on earth does a single unit upgrade? That's a little annoying, keeping track of which units are super units and protecting them. All I can say is I use the health powerup every 40 seconds.
The grid doesn't react well in time based mode. Items I'm not clicking will get grabbed... on a pretty good computer, so I don't know why noone else notes this.
I gave this game a 3/5 even though it's a little bit of fun. The building system is very fast compared to most of this type. The wilds are okay, and the expansion is a little funky. However, the biggest drawback is how weird the troops are.
A catapult with less life than a pikeman? I mean seriously. On top of that you can send as many troops of any type without affecting attack time. Speed only means something in the actual combat.
The towers are a joke, because they have unit types that are not accessible to players, so the best way to win is to save up tokens and send in a bunch of Thes.
Not a terrible effort. No heafty food costs for any troops, or any at all.
The other big drawback is that coin is not taxable, so the only way to expand is to conquer thousands of wilds or to pay and play.
I'm still not sold out. I'm a level 13 and all I keep unlocking is levels. Where is the level 4 tower? The levels are pretty easy. Especially the two routers where the paths intersect. Just build a land defense at the beginning and throw in some anti-air near your exit. *Yawn*
Okay; constructive criticism. The cost of items doesn't make sense for what you earn for what you can accomplish. Yes you've added a bonus for perfect take off, but it still sucks.
