Short, easy, fun and really well made. If you ever want to make a bigger version of this game (more weapons, upgrades, levels and such) you have already a very good base here.
Really nice game and all, but like other have said the upgrades are too expensive (and you get too little many for the missions and loots). Even though I love upgrade games and love to farm for gold a little, this game is pushing a bit too far.
This game does a lot of things right. Has nice graphics, a variety of objectives, weapons (which you do not have to grind too much to buy), levels and stuff. Also it's quick and easty enough to not get too repetitive.
(also a lot of unnecessary gore, which many gamers enjoy xD)
But I agree with qwertylpc that the controls need some adjustment. Also the user interface could be a little bit improved. For example, when you finish/lose a level, instead of going back to the main menu (which breaks the game flow), could be a nice box saying "Retry Level - Shop - Next Level" (in case you lose the level, then only options Retry and Go Back To Menu (Shop) would be shown).
The Arcade Mode badge wasn't awarded for me as well. I had previously scored 21 goals and the badge wasn't awarded. Played again, scored 20 goals and still no badge. All the other 3 badges were awarded accordingly.
One thing that I really like and make this game truly unique is the fact that ALL the weapons have pros and cons. Unlike all the other shooters where you just buy the most expensive weapon and that's it, here even with the Vulcan Cannon you'll not be unbeatable. Good on that.
Howerer, it annoys me a bit that I have a certain number miminum of zombies to kill, and then I still have to kill a BUNCH more for some reason. What's the point of having a minimum if you end up having to kill a lot more than asked initially?
Had to send Kong stuff a message asking for the badge. I've beaten it THREE times (one with each class) and still, that friggin' buggy game wouldn't compute the badge. I'm trully disappointed with the dev, which hasn't responded to any comments made here.
It's kind of frustrating to see a game full of potential, which has got badges already, and the dev doesn't seem to care enough to reply (or address to) the players' comments and suggestions.
Ok, I've beaten the game twice, getting all the gold statues. Where's my badge? (although after beating the last level on the last chapter, it does say "new chapter unlocked" but doesn't seem to be anything new on the map. Bug? User error? :p)
So, you made everyone lose their saves to add *a little* explanation on tutorial and add a badge thing for Kong. And what about all the other suggestions people made (like a "quit battle" o "restart" button, for instance)? C'mon...
(cont) 7) When you have MAX stats and the best boot available, you'll score goals and making passes much more easily (as well as defending). Which will rapidly improve your relationship with boss/team/fans; 8) Only THEN you can spend your money on buying fancy stuff, and then get a g/f and sponsors; 9) Your g/f will only ruin your life if she's not pleased with you. If you keep the relationship high with her, she will NOT cause any trouble; 10) You'll get sponsors by having style points and good fanbase. Sponsors, along with your g/f is the only thing that you'll have to keep doing stuff to please then. That's it.
Hope that helps :)
Here are some tips for the game: 1) BE PATIENT! Your player starts at a very youg age, which means you'll have PLENTY of time to get everything the game offers; 2) Start off by building up your STATS; 3) Save your money for DRINKS (when necessary. Just the BASIC one!) and boots; 4) You DO NOT have to have full enery to make a full match. Just play on 'one heart mode' and your player will do just fine; 5) You'll get a girlfriend ONLY when you have enough "style points". Which you get by buying fancy stuff. So DO NOT buy fancy stuff until you have a lot of money to spend on them; 6) DO NOT keep swapping teams! Stay at one club to improve your relationship with your coach, teammates and fans. ONLY swap teams if your relationship with your boss get bad beyond recovery; (cont)
