I want to like it, I really do. But the grind is just too long for my taste. If the difficulty was edged back and the rewards spread out more I think I would like it more. Maybe dark knight and reset at level 50, enemies less difficult (so level 50 is same as current level 15), and only one reward per level. That way we see progress without spending half an hour on level every level. Resource production is slow, and equipment upgrades do very little. I can end up waiting fifteen minutes for enough metal to upgrade my warriors sword (with 50 workers mining) and only get 3 additional damage. I want to like it but needs serious balancing to make it palatable.
This game is just a re-skin of Clash of Clans. Same units on the same progression, same buildings, the levels of the attack mode are just a little moved around. Even the damn tutorial is a step-by-step recreation of the Clash tutorial. Take that and throw in the fact that the shop button takes you straight to the cash shop every time and it becomes insulting. I encourage everyone to take a stand against derivative crap games and one-star this thing to oblivion.
Seeing a definite lag issue when DPS gets too high, not something you think would happen on an idle game. End up losing a lot of clicks because the game can't register them.
It's got a simple Diablo-clone interface that I really like, but the gameplay issues kill it for me. Played as an archer my first run through and didn't realize that dex has no effect on ranged damage until i hit level 7. The stats most useful stats for anyone seem to be vit and int, and those are just so you can maximize your health and mana regen. Without the ability to pull one enemy at a time you have a tendency to get mobbed. If your regen per hit is good you can usually just spam your abilities one enemy at a time, but the last fight will destroy you. The only point of the shop seems to be to sell your equipment while saving up 50000 gold for the set that levels up with you. You can't go through levels more than once, so you can only afford one of the really good items before you hit the last boss. There's more, but this post is way too long.
The stomp is super effective at keeping zombies alive so you can hit all the crates. My only problem is that if the tower has a weapon it can shoot a stunned zombie and break it out of stun, it makes it more difficult to survive when you are surrounded in the center of the field.
I have the creeper fully controlled with a blaster, have 12 blasters as backup and can just switch on the totem packets as an emergency dust-off. Why can't we just stay? Because screw you? fair enough, engaging totem packets.
so, a fully upgraded hatchback can't take you 1000 ft.? What is it that caused the zombie plague again? Vehicles with such poor fuel efficiency that they would burn out an entire oil-well driving to the next state? The public demands answers!
A nice idea, but flawed in implementation. You only get fame by graduationg students, but can only level 4 students at a time. Then you constantly have to graduate your highest levels just to hit the fame req.
Such a sad story...
