Not sure why a volume slider was deemed necessary over a simple mute button, but props to the dev for responding to player feedback so quickly! Also, I appreciate the inclusion of colourblind players by marking the megaphones with different shapes. And the puzzles are good. Nice game overall :)
Today, whenever I try to load or continue, I get a black screen. Restarting the browser didn't help. I can't remember the last time I exported... any suggestions? :/
I have a stable population, a surplus of food, 90+ total happiness, yet the medical happiness keeps dropping and I keep having to build more clinics (even though the number of people stays the same). Bug?
According to the kongregate wiki entry, there's supposed to be a cocoa farm and a chocolate factory and a hackers HQ and a board game store, but I have none of those. Were they removed or am I missing something?
As much as I love this game, I'm tempted to downvote just for the inconvenient control scheme. It's weird, unintuitive, and also unnecessarily cumbersome if you're on a touchpad (I understand that some games' mechanics mean that they just can't be played on a touchpad, but this isn't that sort of game). Why drag? Why the fancy circle? Just let me click on the card, then click on one of the highlighted squares to move there. Easy, simple, intuitive, touchpad-friendly, and also more resilient to "misclick"-type slips of the hand, where the player accidentally chooses the wrong part of the circle.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. Good news - as I'm developing the game towards the full release, I've decided on a pretty big mechanical update and I'll be changing to a more conventional input scheme to go along with it. It'll still be some time until the new version is out, but I hope you'll check it out once it's ready!
Ok I don't know what you did to fix the "quick click" issue, but now half the time when I click on a tile, a *different* tile turns. That's... worse than before.
It took me a while to figure out the controls and the gameplay, but once I did I really liked it. I strongly suggest adding detailed instructions in a how-to-play option in the beginning.
Edit: thanks to NetMonster's great help in sending the console logs this issue should now have been fixed.
