Idle games should do at least one of the following things: have a sense of humour (eg Tangerine Tycoon), give you something nice to look at (eg Dungeon Crusher), give you something to click (clickers), be complicated enough that you essentially end up with an interesting optimisation problem (eg Realm Grinder), have in-game achievements (these can just be milestones, or more complicated as in Realm Grinder), or have some mini-games to break the monotony of grinding (eg Anti-Idle). This game doesn't seem to have anything interesting. If it gets more interesting later on as new features are added, it does a bad job of conveying that to the new player. All I can see here is "wait until you can build enough of X building so you can buy the most obvious available upgrade", and I'm not going to stick around for more of the same.
Writing this before all the levels are out, so I'm holding out judgement on the game (which has so far been really fun, like all your other games). I'll say this, though: The music is amazing! I literally leave the game on just to listen to it over and over.
A bit buggy, like the fact that the phrase "Your record" sometimes doesn't stop dancing around (also at some point on the menu screen configuration I saw two shapes inside each other somewhere). Fix these and you've got a solid game.
The flashlight mechanic makes me want to look for a walkthrough instead of playing the game properly. BTW you can use Maxine's ticket without getting it first.
3xCrop=Wheat, 3xWheat=Sacks, 3xSacks=Bread, 3xBread=House, 3xHouse=Castle; Blocked Thief=Peasant, 3xPeasant=White Knight, 3xKnight=Black Knight, 3xBlack Knight=Knight on Horseback, 3xKnight on Horseback=Feudal Lord. The next-level item appears where the last-placed item of the group was. (Really should be in the tutorial imho...)
Loved it. As a very minor complaint, the timing element in "almost done" (and to a lesser extent in "200% blockage") didn't seem to fit in with the mentality of the rest of the puzzles. Still 5 stars for an awesome game. Please make a sequel!
A: I am aware that some elements do require timing, and I try to make it so that the challenge doesn't come from timing. I'll try to improve upon this in the next game (and yes, I am making a sequel.)
"I see my son is engaged in battle with this powerful wizard I convinced him to murder. Why don't I barge in completely unarmed and unprotected and confess to plotting the whole thing? I see no flaw in this plan."
She just goes up to the sky.
