Apparently If you're moving too fast and in a jump when one of the tap x rapidly's comes up... you can overshoot it and nothing happens no matter how much you hit x. Just roll off the screen and you're SOL.
Balance is skewed. Maxed Zombies are currently highest paying units. And at a payoff per click, that's easy cash. After a few play thrus I could afford all artifacts, after that, the last update made the game super easy. Especially once I noticed demons didn't pay nearly as well as zombies.
11 days 1 hour 34 minutes 19 seconds.... Level 195.
I've let this game run non-stop for 11 days, upgrading when possible. With each level taking 2-3 times longer than the last, I see no point in continuing this. Maybe I'll be back if I see an update pop up.
1. Not all locations finished have to have good prizes. Just changing locations helps it feel like you've advanced. More locations with less requirements at higher levels will help keep people interested.
2. XP curve. Seriously, I have almost all the badges and locations achieved. Yet I am still less than 1/2 the way to the last level award. And seeing as how much leveling has slowed... the last location probably requires level 500... so that means 4 locations are going to take me quite a while. Seriously, at this xp curve, I will have nothing to do but check back once a day, check for updates, and spend gems. There isn't anything else new to do. This has become an endurance test, not a game.
The complaint about linear advancement at exponential costs are valid.
Consider redistributing things heavily. People need location changes once or twice a sit down, just to keep it interesting. Mini-games that earn extra gold/gems would help.
Needs to be a search function for all PvP type battles.... The ability to search out targets who have not purchased gold and cards with real money. It wasn't bad at first, but now it is hard to enjoy a battle. My best cards can't stand against someone half my level if they spend the money to win.
Problems so far. 1 piece of coal in 487 levels. Mouse slightly off without realizing it, sold 6 of my crafting materials before I noticed. (what I get for hurrying. ) PS. Don't bother with anything but luck on skills. It determines your gear, and gear affects your other stats much more effectively.
Pretty sure Cards Against Humanity already has an online version. With more answers available. 5 are just not enough to make a good statement every time.
Not a bad game, but very straight forward. I found myself throwing finese out the window, and using the good old pillage method. I.E. Use the choke points to hold the enemy into managable units, while you rape their resources. Do it that way, and you don't even need to think for most of it. Only one level did I have to change up. And thats because they attacked from 4 dirrections from the start.
I like it... except the computer's pain in the rump tendancy to ignore orders, or attack completely diffrent than needed for a quick victory. You order them to assult the castle. 70% of the time, they just run off and attack villagers, ignoring soldiers and orders.
Normally I get addicted to these games. Graphics are pretty, but detract attention and add little to the game. Play was extreamly repetitive, and led me to bordome quickly. Odd since I love these type of games. Perhapse there is a way to increase the speed of play?
Decent clone of the genre. Now try adding some more spells, changing the grid layout, and giving each enemy a personality. The pilfered artwork is a good way to make a first attempt. But do try to get original art. Otherwise you might be open to copywrite infringement charges.
