Saw someone below me post that he thought Stone couldn't get ammo, and at first, this is exactly what it seems. since 'drop' on grenade isn't exactly... clear. You CAN have Stone 'Drop' one of his grenades and an ammo set will take up the slot, and you can still put a grenade back on that slot if you so wish. Basically, this game is very basic. Difficulty curve just kinda... spikes at teh second area, such that you're gonna stay in teh first area to grind.
Here's a piece of advice to make those BS levels incredibly easy: Make the game run slowly. Once the game is running at even half speed, dodging insane bullet patterns becomes laughably easy.
Hmm... It's quite a good game, but... The only real issue I have at this stage, is that my troops don't get more experience by replaying a level, add that, and we're golden.
Also, some of the descriptions could be a LOT clearer, as some of them are open to downright misinterpretation. For example: Homing. The damage says: Reduces damage dealt (to a percentage of the original damage) and upgrading that stat gives it plus.... Now, I don't think I'm the only person who would interpret that as damage being reduced FURTHER. I upgraded the stat, as I figured further reduction of damage would be an entirely stupid thing to put in the game. But the point remains that these things need to eb CLEARER.
Bobharley, epr4000, you're both wrong. It's a stick with a cookie on the end. An honest to goodness stick with a cookie on it. That summons meteors. Goodbye logic.
Let's see... You, Rete, started out with a couple of nice little time wasters. DSYP and IH1D. Then you exploded onto the scene with Villainous, the only tower seige game that has been pulled off well, and IMO serves as the base for all to come. Now you've moved here to a Bullet Hell/Rythm game, and you have pulled this off quite nicely, with good picks of music that lend into the levels. Plus, that when you unlock the Jukebox, the patterns actually CHANGE to the different piece of music is well done, in my opinion. I, for one, look forward to your future pieces of work. 6/5.
Damn Wood... I got that Zombie to TALK, to hold a loaded gun and NOT blow our brains out! Yet he still shoots the thing... What do we have to do, show him a Zombie that hates our guts? a Zombie that tries to tazer us, to shoot us, to break its bindings? Sheeet. He's such a stick in the mud, he'd probably give us a pat on the back and a well-done if we showed him one that wants to kill us...
There seem to be people who don't understand that by click and HOLDING the mouse button down on an item will let you see what states a specimen needs to be in for each reaction.
