There needs to be a better conversion rate between spores and kreds for spores to have any real point, I think. Being able to make a dime and a half worth of spores for a day of grinding is rather insulting to a player, IMO.
@Dodo: Wow, rude much? If you're just going to insult others for giving feedback, please just shut up. It's a beta, and Boomer is making a valid suggestion.
Good concept, potentially fun gameplay, but needs some work. Most in need is the ability to kick players, either by majority vote or by the person who's been in a game the longest. There are also a few control issues when drawing and some output issues when you're selected to draw.
It's been a while since I've played a decent platformer, thanks for making the effort to put one together. Good except for a few bugs, including how I just fell off a level and now can't continue. Maybe some kind of level restart function would be a good idea in case one gets stuck?
WASD to move your view around the battlefield would be really nice. Can't say I like the new graphical style; I appreciate the older style more, especially when it comes to moving around the field. The faint attack zone when moving is a nice touch though. I don't really have any actual complaints, though.
Not bad, an interesting variation on a difference game based on where the player's eyes are drawn.
Had a slight issue in one of the levels where one object partially covered another object, I clicked on the covered object and got a penalty because the covering object was technically the correct choice (the way the difference was set up, either object should've been a valid choice).
Not bad. Lots of fun give or take a few problems (the aforementioned lag being the main issue). The inertia takes a bit of getting used to, as do the bounce mechanics. If the music were to loop without that obvious end/restart, that'd be an improvement as well. A high score for the time remaining after winning would be great too. Loved the boss, by the way.
Some keyboards have an issue where you can't press certain combinations of arrow keys with the spacebar. Unfortunately, this is coming into play with your game. As there's very little reason not to shoot continuously, why bother making the user hold spacebar at all? Just make shooting automatic to solve the problem with the arrow keys.
Indeed, the only thing I find at all detrimental to the game is the timer. Remove that and you'd already have a 5/5. Upgrades would be a nice bonus, though.
Impossible badges are generally not given for games that don't require a certain level of skill/luck. In the case of a game like this, you'd be able to obtain such a badge easily by just following a walkthrough.
And well we're at it, how about some 1980s-style cheats (that disable achievements, of course) if you can't stand the typical "this game is too hard" talk?
There's a reason I don't play the crap over at Adult Swim. Potential religious offense aside, the game itself is horrible; it doesn't deserve the challenge or badges.
Not bad. Could've used just a touch more at the ending and slightly more in the way of music (awkward silences between repetition of short leitmotifs for each "level" isn't minimalist, it's just irritating).
Also had a slight problem with the Cerberus boss; after my first death against it, every time I would jump over it trying to get the third shot, it'd turn around instantly. Had to (unintentionally and unexpectedly) glitch my way to victory by having it pounce on me as I fired.
