Very nice bit of storytelling with nice art, but not really a game. The interactive elements are just there as filler. If you want to do a video story, do a video story, don't try to shoehorn faux gameplay elements into it.
Interesting bit of game in an experimental sense, but it would be nice to know if we're going into a game where we're expected to die that much. And, compared to many of the other games here, I agree, the price of the full game doesn't exactly seem justified. Still, good luck to you, Dev.
This game is quite elegant in its simplicity. It's actually very relaxing to play, and the music really fits that theme. And for those Kongers looking for the music, there's a link to the composer's website on the main menu.
I really like what you have going here. It holds a lot of promise. The graphic style is pretty entertaining. One balance comment to make at this point: The electric towers are very underpowered for their price. The gun towers are typically more useful than the electric ones, and much cheaper at present, too.
Interesting game. Simple, but fun. I will agree with the comment that was made before; at times, they tend to cut across corners or skirt the edge of the field, making it hard to do anything about them. On games where that happens, when they do start running through the field later, the difficulty ramps up as you're facing the mobs you couldn't deal with before. Still, good concept for an avoider-style game. Looking forward to the next version.
Actually, medics are available. They are called corpsman, and are deployed with the cross symbol.
Aside from that, the only comment I would have is that a speed control would be nice. Maybe a normal and a fast (2x or 2.5x) could be added, but aside from that, I don't really have any issues with the game. Very well designed.
This game would be a lot better if the faster ships didn't have the 'drift' they're plagued with now. It makes it very hard to actually control where they're going.
Personally, I thought this game could use a little more challenge. However, the music is very nice, and quite a contrast to the twitch-based gameplay. I wouldn't mind seeing more.
This is a pretty good tower game. The depth of the tech tree is a nice change in the genre, but there are a few things that can be improved. Health bars, as other players have mentioned, would be one such improvement. Some indication of splash damage radius would also be a welcome addition. I'd love to see an updated edition with refinements, but this is still fun as it is.
While this game is definitely fun, the lack of viable options for higher levels is rather disappointing. 4/5 for an entertaining game, but with a little room for improvement. I'm hoping to see a followup that addresses this one issue.
A great example of cloning in the worst order. An obvious knockoff of Desktop Tower Defense that strips out most of the best elements and replaces them with nothing. Spared a 1 only by virtue of at least being functional.
