Medium badge advice:
-Make sure you pick up the daily bonus and get the daily code from Facebook. A couple of 2 Hour boosts can take a ton of active play time off the badge requirement.
-Invest in the second row of buildings. The resources they give you make a massive difference to how quickly you can progress.
-No matter how aggressively you play, the badge will take a couple of days. (Unless you spend real cash, of course)
-The game generates money at the same rate whether you're online or offline. Unless you're buying stuff, there's no point in having the game on.
-Remember that rating a game gives you a Kong point, and rating it low can send a message that you don't want to see these kinds of games be badged.
They called me crazy for wanting the full set of shiny Kongpanions! They wont call me crazy when they see Ive strapped an armadillo to a rocket and launched it from a cannon! Theyll see! Theyll all see!
Loved the game. It might just be me, but occasionally the perspective made me jump into bullets when I thought I was avoiding them. Maybe a sequel could include an option to play with the peacekeeper along the bottom? Another interesting one would be to use three keys for the three heights so you could dash between the top and bottom.
Absolute fun. The best bits are when the music affects gameplay, so the song is a perfect choice, but the replayability is really taken out by only having the one track. With a couple of extra songs (maybe one easier and one harder?) this could be a truly top-notch game. Maybe even some little tweaks, like letting players pick the colour of the ship and the walls, could really put some extra fun in. 3/5 at the moment, with a little work it could be an easy 5.
First off, every game needs pause and mute as keyboard shortcuts.
The weapon-switching gameplay is actually loads of fun when it works, but for the majority of the game it seems a bit pointless. Maybe if you tanked out the enemies a bit and increased their spawn rate while at the same time reducing the recharge on the weapons, it could be a more exciting game. Maybe even go all out and make some enemies that are only weak to specific weapons (like some chilli con carne that's really hard to take out with everything but frost) and a difficulty selection would be brilliant.
Having a powerful set of units on field can be really counter-productive, because you just end up putting yourself into the range of enemy arrows. If there was a respawn time on units, there might be time to attack the tower, but they spawn to quickly to get any actual damage in.
I enjoyed this. It was short, yeah, and it was easy, but I think that was part of its charm. I felt like maybe the instruction on how to use the items could be a little clearer, and there should probably be an easier way to control the order of explosions once they're placed. I had to retract all my items and replace them to get the order right on more than one occasion. This game is begging for more items and levels, along with possibly a level editor, and the short taste makes it feel a little unfinished. Still, I had a good time with it. I'm hoping for a much bigger sequel in the near future.
This is elegant in its simplicity. I feel like the only ways to really improve it are to take away the things that pull you out of that kind of droning, glaze-eyed immersion. The most obvious is the invincible flying zombies. In-depth control customisation would be amazing, and I'd personally love an autofire toggle. I don't think adding features is a good move (as I said, I love the simplicity) but maybe consider adding a wave timer? Ammo moderation is way easier when you know how much time you have left. On the positives, great work on the difficulty curve, the individual feel of each weapon, and an upgrade system that's simple yet effective. I had some good fun with this and I hope some little tweaks will make it amazing.
Dreaming or not, any kid who creates a plan that involves blowing up the moon could use some counselling. The last thing we need is some seven year old Dr Evil roaming the streets.
Great fun game. It would be nice if there were some more ways to increase the monthly gold income, I had four unique characters at level 5, the cost to keep them was way higher than my income and side-mission earnings.
Maybe if you're going into a sequel, I'd suggest multiple leagues in the same game. Working up, starting with the country, growing to take control of the continent, and then the world.
Anyway, loved it. 5/5
I'd just love to see more of this. Whether that comes as a sequel or a level pack I don't mind, and possibly even a level creator. I had a load of fun and a few giggles. 5/5
Seriously, more levels please.
Thanks for the feedback, nightmare! All of those are great ideas! We will surely consider them!! =)
