Wish there was a way to pull your injured guys out of battle and move them behind the group to heal in safety without having them immediately turn and throw themselves back into the fray.
Looks like game will save only if you go back out to the menu from the controls in the upper left. If you just close out, it won't save. Found that out the hard way.
It's been so long since I played a game that did not autosave. This has led to a number of "Oh crap!" moments as I was getting my butt kicked and realized that I was about to lose an hour's progress.
Direction keys tend to get stuck at the worst moments. Can't count the number of times when I've cleared a section, stepped on the Upgrade Tower square, and had my character march off to the side of the screen and get stuck while the hordes sweep in.
So, the enemy can use melee from their back row and hit me for full damage, but I can't shoot at them with an arrow? Doesn't make sense. Why not have enemies in the back row deal/receive half damage?
How about letting us add resources to the FUEL generator a little at a time, instead of all at once? I'm currently overstocked on wood and would like to get rid of some by dump ingit into the generator, but it won't let me unless I also add metal and cloth at the same time.
I like how the game just randomly ends with no warning. It teaches us that life is uncertain and that the cold hand of Death may snatch us away at any moment. Who knew that a cute little game about balls could be so philosophical?
Was two-thirds of the way through before I realized that the doodles on the tiles were representing what was happening with that instrument (upswept line = rising notes, etc). Was nearly done when I noticed the Hint button. All in all, a fun and original diversion.
Graphics have certainly improved over A.M.2, and the voice is a nice touch. Option to have planes circle or switch runways is a nice touch. However, as others have said, a free game site should contain free games, not demos.
Stungun wol: The answer to all three of your questions can be found by pressing the "Menu" button while in-game; it can be found to the left of the Order Station button.
