IN the engineering menu the W does not refer to water but rather Tungsten. This got me confused for a long time.
Build a turret before building anything else. Asteroids and pirates are deadly. Even a minimal defense after you intercept the incoming threat but fail to eradicate it completely is useful.
This game becomes a very difficult grind to get more powerful letters. Exploding and jade letters are essential and it takes a lot of grinding to get powerful ones. In later levels the spiders get on the bottom level and block your shots that you're trying to get up to the higher level where your documents are. Exploding letters with a jade in the word are very useful when trying to clear a path.
I'm glad this game doesn't have a "get X distance by day Y." badge in it. Cash earnings are far too slow. Having to play about ten rounds just to get the sausage is not my idea of time well spent...
