Didn't load properly today: the sidebar menus opened and closed continuously, and pretty quickly. The screenshot I managed to grab: http://s187.photobucket.com/albums/x207/pratarpersilja/temps/?action=view¤t=protectorV-bug.png
Reloading corrected it, though.
It's a technically very well done game, but somehow it leaves me fairly cold, and I don't really know why. Perhaps it is that I see several good ideas that have been exploited individually in other TD games brought together, but that the final tweaks with respect to balancing the game play remains. For one, I believe the game is way too easy to beat - you simply can get too many talent tree and attribute points at once in the beginning. Perhaps additionally tweaks could be done as well. 3/5 from me.
How do you get the ingame acheivements? Last throw gave me some 120 stars, and the one before that gave me the 100 space star Kong achievement, but I have still not achieved the "collect 20 stars" in-game one. Actually, even after completing the game, I still haven't received a single one of those.
Nice game, but after some 60-70 bubble levels the fps on this computer goes down far below 1, so it's effectively unplayable.I'll have to get a new computer first...
Hm, I don't normally like platformers and puzzlers, but this is very very well done, and actually managed to keep my interest for more than two levels. So I'm in two minds about rating: on one hand, I want to congratulate the maker with a 5/5 (because it's worth it), but on the other hand, I've noticed kong thinks I enjoy playing games like that if I give it that kind of rating...
I have some strange issues with the game: the background doesn't load. Hence I have a white screen with yellow text. Not very easy to read...
And yes, I've reloaded the page. Twice. No dice.
*Don't try to play it on really old hardware. (512 MB memory is *way* too little - it will lag badly on later levels)
*Agree with requests for pause button, count-down and toggle-able fast forward
*Occasional bug: there is one bloon left which simply doesn't move and doesn't get hurt by any amount of mortar fire. No other tower seems to see the bloon - they won't fire at it, so mortars are the only manner in which I can attack it, but since nothing happens, it doesn't really matters... only way out of the situation is to end game.
Hm, it just froze: a single blue balloon left unmoving (level 56 or so). The level never finished, two minutes of cannonade on that spot never hit the balloon, but neither did it move towards finish. Dart towers didn't even try to hit it. Had to press "end game" to get anywhere.
