I would absolutely LOVE this game, and the original. But ONE thing ALWAYS keeps me from going farther than about level 7, I build a great defense and am on track for brilliant! then comes the ninjas. I cant stand them.
My favorite part of the game? reading the hilarious captions on every single treasure / item in the game XD!

Here is all of the damaging special Items and how much damage they do:
Blowpipe: 30
Boomerang: 30
Nightshade: 40
Ninja star: 50
Pistol (w/ bullets): 80
Cannon (w/ balls): 100
I don't want to give away too many spoilers so I won't say what the rest of the special Items do, but I know I was frusturated when I walked into a boss fight with a 30 damage Blowpipe when I had a 80 dmg Pistol without knowing which did more damage.
A great addition to this game would be strategy, right now once you get the best melee weapon you just spam attack and buy items and the game is way too easy. If the difficulty of some areas was increased, but the addition of switching spots taking up a turn of the bugs, it would add another level of strategy into the game while still making it fun and interesting. Plus this would stop the spamming of 3 80+ health bugs where you die in 4 turns and the miss chance doesnt allow you to do anything about it.
hmm... the first place I search fully is the stadium, and teh quest is to search it fully so it can be used as a safehouse. Then right after I clear it out I get a message saying "you can revisit any place you fully searched, but it will be overrun with bugs." Well there goes my hardwork for making a safehouse...
