Just so you guys know, leveling up your maximum food makes it go up by 40 per level, while leveling up your maximum mana increases it by 50 per level. It's a good idea to level them up a little bit, so you can gather lots of food and mana at the beginning of normal levels and boss levels, especially if you have lots of food regeneration and mana regeneration. The extra food is also necessary to summon units that require lots of food like the Rhino, the Penguin and the Dragon.
