For shadow, I combine subversion, block and heroic motivation. All of the time, you will be happy if you can generate health and focus pasively. You may reset your stat 5 times a day, use it when you find yourself hard to defeat your current enemy.
That's all, no big secret. this game is a very time consuming one.
