spoiler alert:
hm i think the unfinished buisness of the last person was to release alive from her 200 years prison at last after all it kinda was alice who did the main work
the actually gameplay is nice, but i disagree with your campaign managment. especially act 4 is annoying - first i got to rush scouting them, and suddenly i am supposed to have a base able to fight of a horrendous monster. it'S jsut that i basicly have to know whats going to happen in order to be able to win this round which is a stain on a else pretty sweet game. try not to put a super heavy enemy at the end of a timed rush-map ;P
Yeah, I was a little conflicted whether I should give the player explicit warnings, or let the player adapt to the scenario. I thought it would have been more satisfying if the player overcame a real crisis. I ended up doing subtle hints in the mission objectives in Act 4. I guess they were a little too subtle, lol (it just said "Fortify your base"). My bad. I'll add more hints on the next update.
what i am missing is an option of a timed coalition between parties which the congressians having to stick to (while of cause the whole party has to cast a vote over the coalition prior to that). Boni or mali are adjusted depending on whom is the coalition partner is. but perhaps im just thinking too much in the german system ^^
(+ it's way too much fun discussing with the game designer about features as a former game tester bye profession ("this is not a bug this is a design decicion!!!" xD) be sure im gonna give you a hugeeeeee bug report once i finde one xD)
Well, your english is definitely better than my german. I'm not sure there's an equivalent to what you're talking about in the American federal legislature. It's not unusual for congresspersons to vote outside of party lines, and it's pretty much unheard of for any sort of major disciplinary action to occur as a result. Thanks for the feedback and support!
(sorry i just did it in german this time ^^ a rough translation although the above should be more precise ^^
i see what you want to do there, but even in real life parties team up and splitt up not always in the same manner. i just felt like your putting down a great option for advanced gameplay in favor of a not so much realism ;)
I'm not really sure what you mean. You can act however you choose on any bills, for any reason you might want to do so. Doing so will cost you constituent support or not based on the stated views of your chosen party (which your constituents wish for you to follow). I'm not really sure what I'm limiting (except for people's ability to completely ignore their party, which would be kinda dumb). There are also no limits on what parties your cronies are from, and you can send associate requests to anyone.
i think you should introduce somethign about a party teaming up system. like you are only timed "couppled" with another party and acting agaisnt certain of the partners bills is less effective or costing you some support. just a system that pushes the partys themself to stick theyr head together but don't couple certain partys toegther forever.
Each bill in the game is specifically tuned to represent the real-life stances of each of the in-game political parties (with the assumption that the Socialist party represents a Liberal/Authoritarian party, rather than the US Socialist party which is pretty much the same as the Democratic party.)
hm well, theres nothing new to this concept + some of your jumps are very sloppy - you cant instantly jump again after landing which is very annoying on the narrow parts on the map.
you should do a language check in future games before releasing, it looks much like slaking in testing when you have a lot of words getting out of their boxes. you dont even have to be able to read the language, just look for words that don't fit their boxes ;) still 4 stars from me (check the newspaper especially)
