Continuing from my last comment:
1. Get into fight, 5v5.
2. Opposite monster uses one move, gets a critical on half my party, two dead, one almost dead.
3. Get revenge, killing three of his monsters, the remaining two have a sliver of health.
4. One of my other monsters finishes the rest off.
5. Battle is over in three moves.
My only complaint about this game is that EVERYTHING is way too fragile.
Everything I fight dies in one or two hits, while enemies tend to wipe my minions out in three or four. It makes all fights much too quick.
I have a glitch: the opponent always, without fail, attacks my bottom ship, regardless of actual strength. Testing this, I started to focus all my resources into upgrading the bottom ship, leaving the other two relatively weak. They would continue to attack the bottom ship.
The next test was the opposite: make the ship on the bottom the weakest, to which the enemies would just continue to attack that one alone.
The M15 GMC is WAY too overpowered compared to everything else. I'm still using it by mission 9 and STILL using it to tear through Panzers and such. I know there were plenty of comments about how their tank singlehandedly wiped out most of the Nazi regime, but a shoddily armored truck?
Not going to be nice about this, but when an entire game's difficulty revolves around ONE single variable, something is wrong with the developer and their skills as a game designer. The fact that Madagascar's difficulty has become a meme does NOT make it better and will likely spur the devs to keep it, which would be the most singlehandedly immature thing they could do.
Ah, found out that my memory of the situation was a bit blurry.

At least the survival rate wasn't as bad as I initially remembered.
Reading a few posts in the comments here, I'd like to remind everyone that Krin, the guy who makes this series and Sinjid, came down with a deathly illness. The survival rate for his illness was very low, but it sounds like he survived it. I don't know when (if ever) he will return to making more games.
