It looks like the CAP button tends to stop working randomly. Whenever that happens, I have to clear out all the clones, then re-use the CAP button to get it to work correctly again.
@jacobfort I minus'd you personally because this is a section for comments about the game, not some kind of magic "HELP ME HELP ME GOOGLE IS TOO HARD" hugbox." Besides, there's an official forum for the game, as well as an unofficial Wikia you could have checked. Hell, take Oniken's advice and ask in the chat; considering there's an average of 200 people in each RG chatroom, I'm sure you'd get help from someone.
Further testing with the odd scaling issue shows that:
1) it only happens whenever Windows' scale setting is anything but default and
2) adjusting Firefox's browser scaling fixes the problem, but ONLY if it's changed while on a different page before the game is even opened; otherwise the scaling issue becomes worse.
This game gets three stars from me until the travel system gets a BIG overhaul, like the choice to skip monsters that you could clearly one-shot.
Would've rated lower, but I'm a sucker for monster-catching games like these, no matter how simple.
I'd also like to mention that on a Windows computer, the system's font zoom (the accessibility option built into Windows) causes the whole game's scaling to go way out of whack. Adjusting the web browser's zoom makes it worse.
Yeah, scrying rarely works for me, too. Adblock or no adblock - it varies between the "sorry, no ads to display" and a solid black screen that I have to manually close out of. Neither gets a reward.
This game needs something like an alternate travel mode where you can reduce the number of days that you have to manually travel through to get to areas you've already completed. Something like a toggle on the map that makes it so the player only has to sit through ONE day of travel on previous routes, but the player doesn't get a chest for the trip, when applicable.
Also a bug report: When viewing your character, the numbers below him have a short limit on how long the names of the values can be.
Example: mine says "quattuorquadragint"
Welp, I've raised my rating from 1 star to 2 for listening.
All that's left now is a "classic mode" option to bring back the old UI and I'll raise it back to a 5 like it used to.
I've got it: when you finally reset everyone's save files, have it so that you get to keep some, up to a maximum amount. The maximum would be something fairly small, but enough to take away some of the tedium of the very beginning of the game.
Here's a thought: What about the different buildings you purchase changing their names after each of the achievements are acquired? Like the lemonade stand becoming a lemonade store after the 50th up until a lemonade planet at 500.
Expanding on something someone else said, I wish there was an option to see how fast some of the investments run at.
I'm mostly just curious about how many times my lemonade stands trigger per second.
