This is an outline, but obviously it needs a lot more to be a game. I like the animations and sprites. Maybe make this one of those games where you go all the way to one side and it goes to a different background(thats really vague but i cant explain it better). I'd like to see a boomerang or something ranged that you can use in the ongoing game. Add an epic boss and this is a pretty good game.
The correct amount of time to do things. This can be compared to some of the great games like 1066 and Frontier. The pure graphics surprise me. This must be some kind of new graphic concept. I think there should be a sequel where you deliver 2 swords across the map instead of one. Heavy stuff.
