Developer, instead of arguing with your audience when they say the game's boring, how about you actually accept it as feedback and change some things? No one expects perfection here, but when you have to tell every single person to give it several days worth of play before you judge, there's something wrong. (And I'm going to keep making comments like this until I get that second badge.)
I keep seeing responses from the developer saying "Give it time, the real game starts when you unlock more content after level 3". I've been playing this game pretty non-stop for a few days now, I've taken advantage of the daily stuff and free codes, and I'm still a couple days away from level three. If it takes a week of dedicated gameplay to "get interesting", your game needs some rethinking. It could be the best game ever, so wonderful that people are shocked it's categorized as an idle game, but if it takes a week to get there, no one will see that and no amount of urging the public to give it a chance will make it better.
Almost a 4 star rating, yet one of the top comments is literally just "The game is terrible". Just more proof that the rating system on Kong isn't worth a glance anymore.
I'm tired of people giving bad ratings because there isn't a mute button (or, usually, they can't find it or barely even look). I use firefox and chrome, and both have mute buttons in the window tabs.
I like the style, I like the concept, but it REALLY needs some kind of autopilot. It gets frustrating clicking the same things over and over because quests end in 20 seconds, but when you unlock longer ones it jumps to 20 minutes and I forget they're even going. There's way too little to actually DO in order to hold my attention.
I agree that there should be an undo button, just for the last step made maybe. It would just save time and frustration if you accidentally move one too many spaces and have to start over.
Also, the guide seems to have an old version of level 22 where you don't need to eat the apple in order to complete it?
There's an invasion I can't get past without leveling some dragons. I can't build up enough resources to level them because the invasion keeps coming back too soon. I have to waste time waiting to die just to go back and build up still not enough resources to have the invasion come back again. This is getting annoying.
I love this game, so I can't really give just one star. But the fact that it's been up for so long and there's STILL no way to just start your current level over instead of the whole game means it's broken and near unplayable.
Second quest in the game and I need to grind for an item with a 5% drop rate (according to the wikia)?! No thanks. Maybe further into the game, once I'm invested, but not 10 minutes in.
To everyone complaining about how slow the moon is: Have you forgotten how slow the original game seemed? Build up those angels, it will speed up. Yeah, they need to add more stuff to make it equal to the Earth now, but I just see it as a throwback to start with.
Once you get past how ripped off the style of the game is, the puzzles are actually quite good. I honestly think it'd be better (and less of a copy of Mateusz Skutnik) if there weren't random notes lying around trying to build more mystery. I think just having these strange places and devices would be enough.
It would be nice to be able to save progress on an incomplete puzzle (sorry if it is and I couldn't find it). Also could the ones filled in with a hint be permanent? That way they won't accidentally be erased and their placement forgotten. I haven't had an issue with this, I just see it being one down the line.
Use the "Load Puzzle" button in the main menu.
