I BROKE THE GAME! After hitting level 2, spend the upgrade point and then exit the game via Menu. Then start a new game in the same slot. Your party level will be 1, but your character will keep the ability you bought. You can do this until all characters start with 2 abilities.
Bullets should fade out after a while. I just had to restart a match because a missile went into perfect orbit on a planet. That would be really annoying if there was a multiplayer version.
Here's an idea. Why don't the achievements award talent points rather than experience? That would help with the slow leveling (we want to level to get talents), and you wouldn't have to change the experience system at all.
Disappointed at the lack of combos later in the game. Even if you don't get new elements, it would be cool to get a result from werewolf + human or fire + clothes (just a couple of examples that could have an obvious reaction).

The trick is to hit ALMOST EVERY box. The game adjusts the jumps so you can always make it. The only problem is if you hit a box right before a big jump, because the game has already set up the distance, you won't be able to make it.
Otherwise, just take it slow.
